Got this off the net. hope it helps.Papa John’s Cardinal stadium will be the host of what’s being described as the Cardinals biggest home game ever, as the No.4 Florida State Seminoles (4-0) visit the unranked Louisville Cardinals (2-2).

Prior to kickoff of this season, Louisville was considered a contender for a BCS berth. But things now look grim, as the Cardinals face a tough Clemson squad next week and Memphis in the following week, which has one of the top young quarterbacks in the nation in Danny Wimprine.

The Cards managed to cover the 28-point spread over Army last week (45-14), despite racking up 135 yards in penalties.

Louisville finds itself in the 'dog role itself this week, as 15-point underdogs. The Cardinals have been the underdog five times in the past three years and have collected the cash in three of those affairs (3-1-1).

Louisville’s prize QB Dave Ragone has led his squad to a 22-5 straight up (SU) record in his two-plus seasons at the helm.

The Seminoles are coming off a 48-17 thrashing over Duke. FSU broke that game wide open in the second quarter with 21 straight points.

Florida State has now reeled off six straight wins SU (3-3 ATS). The ‘under’ holds a profitable 5-1 mark in the team's last seven contests and the Seminoles have given up fewer than 20 points in five of their last six. The Seminoles are especially stingy the first half, giving up a measly 17 points this year.

Florida State has averaged 40.8 points and outscored opponents 132-23 over the first three quarters of a game this season. FSU ranks fourth in total offense with an astounding 488.8 yards per game

Since the first meeting between these two clubs 50 years ago, Florida State has rolled to 12 straight victories.

The Seminoles have been favorites of at least 18 points in each of their four tilts this season and have cashed in only one of those matchups.
