2004 NCAA FB posted plays 16-7

Some early plays :

Texas Tech +3 vs Texas
Once again the Longhorns are arguably the most over rated team in the nation while losing 5 straight ATS. I can't remember the last time Texas covered away from Austin, and in traveling to Lubbock they face a team that has scored 70 pts in each of it's last 2 home games. The Longhorns have an effective ground attack with RB Benson, but have proven to be a one dimensional team with So QB Young struggling with the passing game and ranking near the bottom in the Big 12. That won't get it done in a game that may end up with the Horns having to trade TD's with the Red Raiders.

Northwestern +12' vs Wisconsin
2 huge road wins vs OSU and Purdue have propelled the Badgers into the BCS formula. These 2 tough games have left the Badgers somewhat banged up for this game with often overlooked Northwestern. The Wildcats have had 2 weeks to revel in their win over Ohio St and prepare for the Wisky D. The Cats have a prolific ,balanced attack that can move the ball and score points vs any opponent. The Northwestern D has trouble vs high powered attacks. but i feel they can keep this game close vs Wisconsin's conservative attack. While very good ATS on the road, The Badgers have struggled ATS in recent years at Camp Randall, particularly as a favorite.

Fresno St +10' vs Boise St

In Boise we have another over rated team that has dropped 4 straight ATS. I think we will see a pissed off Fresno team here that has lost 2 straight as faves after reading their press clippings about crashing the BCS party this season. HC Pat Hill is a hardass and will have the Bulldogs ready to play in a role in which they flourish, a road underdog. i think double digits for Fresno here in a double revenge mode offers good value

Miami/NC St UNDER 40'

Louisville showed some holes in the Cane D but with NC St's developing QB and conservative approach in this game I don't see the Pack being able to exploit those holes. This may be the best d the Canes have faced this year. NC St's only hope for an upset here is a close to the vest, defensive, field position type game. I like this game under

Sat results :

Northwestern +12' WINNER
Fortunately for me the Badgers chose to run out the clock.

Tex Tech +3 LOSER
I should have bought this game back when I saw the line move to TT-1. The public and the services pounded Tech from a dog to a fave in this game, and that's never good, as the public usually loses and the services suck. I stayed with it thinking I had some value at +3. A mistake on my part.

Fresno St +10' LOSER
The Bulldogs had their chances here, but didn't play nearly as well as I thought they would.

Mia/NC St UNDER 40' LOSER.
When betting the under, it's never a good sign when the opening kickoff is run back for a TD. This wager was in the loss column by halftime.

Sat 1-3
