Posted plays so far 1-0

Sat 9/4

Auburn -37' vs La Monroe

Who can forget how last years Tigers, saddled with the pressure of BCS expectations, stumbled out of the gate to an 0-2 start. I still remember The Hook turning us on to USC in that first game.Something tells me The Tigers will not let that happen this year, and will play a lot looser minus the big expectations. This is a real Lions vs Christians affair here, and is also a team Auburn beat 77-0 last season.

I'll lay the heavy wood here in my 2nd posted play of the season. I don't think it's nearly enough points.

Fresno St +3 at Washington

Coach Pat Hill and the Bulldogs have been a covering machine in early season games vs teams from power conferences. Last year Fresno openened the season 3-0 ATS in games vs Tenn, Ore St,and Okla. It's worth noting that Hill is 8-1 ATS vs Pac 10 teams in his tenure as coach at Fresno. This included outright wins as dogs last year vs Ore St and UCLA. Fresno returns 17 starters including talented Jr QB Pinegar. The Huskies have been a real money burner the past few years and are particularly dreadful ATS as a fave. I'll take the 3 and back the Bulldiogs here.

Auburn must have pretty much sat on the ball in the 4th and was a loser. Fresno was a winner due to the Huskies turning the ball over for TD's. The teams looked pretty much even.

First weekend of posted NCAA football plays 2-1.

Thanks Hook. My bankroll is looking forward to your ( and your brother's ) gems from the SEC.
