I'm going to a NCAA Tourney calcutta on Tues eve. My pockets are not as deep as some of the others that will be there. I will not be able to afford Kentucky, Ariz ,etc. Once the bidding starts I'm looking for teams that can win 2 or 3 games.These are teams I'm looking at :
2 game winners :
Tulsa
Alabama
Wisc Milw
BYU
3 game winners :
St Joes
Miss St
Missouri
Memphis
UConn
Any thoughts by guys here would sure be appreciated. Who do you guys think might be able to win a few games and be offered at a reasonable price once the bidding starts.
i think miss st could be a good one to get on fingerlakes...i've kept an eye on that butler team and the bulldogs should have no problem with them...and i think they can get by a possible matchup with louisville also..they could be dangerous... i also think a good long shot could possibly be BYU or tulsa...tulsa is a much better road team than the flyers and i could see them sneaking by dayton right on into the second or third rounds...BYU would be a nightmare if they won the first round for the committee...they would have to be moved to a different region so they wouldn't be forced to play on sunday....that could very well be the 12 seed over the 5 seed that happens every year.
