Philly -4.5 over Carolina (38)

I like NE as well. I am seeing a few 3s out there, no need to buy the half.......

Go Pats!

Indy is the "hot" team, but I like New England (at -3) as well. I think the Over 43.5 may be a safer bet. It won't be as cold, and the Colts D is pretty inconsistent. New England is no juggernaut, but can score adequately. The teams put up 72 in their first meeting (indoors).

I like Carolina with the points at Philly.

Stay away from any bet on the total until the day of. That weather is so unpredictable it may bite you in the a** by then. Manning is an indoor QB, I would lay up to 7 on NE. I can't see Indy getting it done.

MC,

I could not agree with you more. (Hint, Hint) I think I may be posting a play on the AFC Championship very soon.......

Do you guys see NE/Indy going to 2.5? I doubt it seriously.

I believe the Philly spread may go up some more by game time.

It's good practice to wait on the totals, as you say. The forecast (so far) is a high of 28 that afternoon, and 11 into the evening at Foxboro, but reasonably clear. Never know until game time.

It's always good to wait on totals regardless. good call NL. Maybe it will end up with a bet the other way come time to get down on it but that is better then being stuck with some lock over and the QB, RB and two WR's all get knocked out in a car crash or some sh*t you know!
