Hey Everyone!

I spoke with MVP over the weekend about some new creative ways to keep the prizes flowing here at BettorsNetwork. Several ideas were tossed around but there is one particular one that I wanted to get everyones thoughts on.

The contest would be similar to the Hilton Contest in format. NFL, 5 picks each week ATS, etc.

There would be an entry fee for this contest of $1000 in the form of a deposit at MVP before the contest begins, which is different from what we are doing currently with the contests/prizes.

The required deposit is yours to keep and get a bonus on just like any other deposit you would make at MVP. You would just need to deposit before you are allowed to play.

Prize for this contest is dependant on # of participants but early numbers being tossed around are $10,000 or more to the winner.

If this interests you or doesn't interest you please let me know. A lot of work goes into all these contests behind the scenes so that is why I am asking early. So I would like to hear from as many people as possible.

I know some of u are a little shy so I will start.

I like the idea, for three reasons really.

1) The Hilton format of the contest is interesting to me. After the first few weeks there could be some people with records worth following we all could ride through the season. That's good for all of us, not just those playing.

2) Most of us are gonna have to deposit somewhere this season to get started anyway. Why not deposit somewhere that you can win $10k with your deposit.

3) At the MOST we will get 20-30 people and that is being generous. It's probably more like 10-15 that will actually play if thing happens. That means you have a 1-15 chance at $10k. You will be hard pressed to find those odds at any other contest at any other site this season.

Those are my thoughts, now that I broke the ice I would like to hear from some of you guys. Especially those that have a serious interest in this kind of format.

Hey MC its a great idea but $1000 deposit is a lot, well it is for me anyway I dont know about everyone else. Anyway I like the idea and if I manage the $1000 when the time comes I'm down for sure.

That is true MC.... maybe if there is not a ton of response you could look at reducing the deposit to $500 to win $5000?

Hi Big T!

Yes sir, same exact format and scoring

Hi Stocks

I hear what you are saying and it is a lot but given the amount of the prize I don't think that it is unreasonable. Plus, that's your money. It has nothing to do with the prize other then the fact that you need to deposit to play. You still get a bonus which if you play your cards right could be 50% if they run that again this year.

For sure its a great deal I already got an account with MVP too so I got no problem putting my money there and its a great chance to win $10000 but I dont have a bank roll of $1000 close but not there yet anyway things will be a lot more clear for me well atleast before football starts up but like I said if I got the $1000 floating around I'm there no sweat and put it this way it will be the easyest 10 grand I ever made going up against you guys LOL I'm just kidding

Sounds good. 2 questions:

1) How is the 10K prize paid?
2) If it is a credit @ MVP, what is the rollover before I can have my $$?

As always, you know I'm in......

TB,

Gotta wait until we at least have 10 people confirmed before it's a go for sure. Looks like 4 so far. I am gonna ask if I can play too.

Hook,

Gonna be a betting account, not sure on the rollover yet. Gonna find out more specifics when we get more people confirmed/interested. Might be 5x, gonna push for 3x.

Did u get my email last week?

I will also ask about additional prizes. 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. The final prizes will definitely be based on # of participants. More people in, more they will put up.

I would like to hear from everyone or almost everyone too, not just those that are interested in playing. If you aren't interested I would like to know as well and I would like to know why.

As always I want to try to do the best for everyone that visits the site and that means trying to include as many people as I can in everything we do.

Wow, this could kick some serious butt! As long as it's my money to play with, I would do my best to scrounge up for the deposit. I think I could swing it.

Looking good ya'll.

Nice to hear you are in if you can swing it NL.

Talked to MVP and we are defintely on for this as long as we can get 10 people minimum. I don't think they are gonna let me play though
