8/24 Play: STEELERS to -3, -110
Reason: This will be the third preseason game for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and if you've followed the team under coach Cower, you know this is the one preseason game he actually cares about. The starters, led byTommy Maddox, will see action well into the third quarter. Expect to see Maddox for the first half, and Charlie Batch for the second half. The first unit defense will also play into the second half, and should really throw young Joey Harrington for a loop. While Detroit looked better in their 1 point loss to Cleveland last week, they remain a sorry group. To complicate matters for Harrington and McMahon, 2/5 of the starting o-line will be out. There will be a lot of rah-rah in the beginning of the game as this will be the inaugural game at Detroit's new Ford Field. Unfortunatly for Detroit a football game will eventually have to be played and we don't think Detroit has the talent to hang with Pittsburgh.
