NFLX HANDICAPPING TIP #13 – ATS – Angles, Trends, & Systems

Today’s FINAL NFLX Handicapping Tip is:

Learn the spread tendencies of teams and coaches in various Preseason situations by researching relevant angles and trends. Systems are a very powerful preseason handicapping tool since they are league-wide situations that reveal weak lines and public perceptions that are often wrong.

PRO INFO SPORTS discovers and tracks numerous angles and trends for each team, along with a multitude of league-wide systems. Here is just a small sample of some strong situations to keep mind for the 2006 NFL Exhibition Season.

4 perfect team/coach preseason trends:

New England is 7-0 ATS in Early & Week 1 NFLX games

Chicago is 0-7 ATS in NFLX home games off scoring less than 10 points in its last Preseason game

Philadelphia’s Andy Reid is 0-7 ATS as an NFLX favorite playing with Preseason revenge

Washington is 8-0 ATS in NFLX road games vs. an opponent off a Preseason SU loss

3 PERFECT PRESEASON POWER SYSTEMS:

NFLX Game 3 home favorites/pick ‘ems off a SU loss of 10+ points in their last Preseason game and a Preseason SU loss before that are 12-0 ATS

NFLX underdogs of more than 7 points off scoring 15+ points in their last Preseason game are 14-0 ATS vs. opponents off a Preseason SU win are 14-0 ATS

NFLX road underdogs off a Preseason home SU win of 10+ points in their last game (not an ATS win of 15+ points) and a Preseason home SU win before that are 12-0 ATS

Angles, trends, and systems should not be the sole reason for making a preseason play, as all factors must be considered; however, they can prove to be very helpful in pointing you in the right direction, keeping you off the losing side, and/or support making a small investment a bigger one.
