This afternoon I have the great fortune to be playing golf at Oak Hill East in Rochester, NY. This is the course where the PGA was held in August, as well as several US Opens and other majors. My host is a guy I have been buying seafood and shellfish from for 20 yrs. He is a member there and invited my regular partner and myself. This is the first time i have had the opportunity to play a "top ten " course.
I will hope to break 90 here with my 11 USGA handicap. That may be a bit ambitous as the rough is still brutal there with all of the rain we have had.High rough and greens that stimp out at 12 are not condusive to low scores as the pros found out in August.
I will have a report about this once in a lifetime experience tonight or Thurs. Hopefully i will have some pictures to post as well. The over/under on my round is 90, post your plays here ( kidding )
