I'm coming off of another miserable week going 0-4 -465 last week.Season total now stands at 54-44-6 +660. Time to get back in the winners circle this week with these plays.
Verplank -105 vs Estes
Mickelson -130 vs DiMarco
Toms -110 vs Price
Lonard -115 vs Crane
K. Sutherland +120 vs K. Perry
For those following Annika's playing next week at Colonial the payoff for her making the cut is up to +350.They had a panel of guys who run Colonial C.C. on the golf channel the other night and all of them said no. They felt that with the course's length playing to only a par of 70 that there just weren't that many birdie holes for her to offset the bogeys she will make.Higg mentioned here a while back that the guys really don't want to see her make the cut. He has a good point as usually nice guys like Vijay Singh and Nick Price have made strong statements against her appearance in this tournament. Her reception from the guys could be kind of chilly. She will have a few things working against her other than the course and the weather conditions. Whatever you read about her scores here in practice rounds you should disregard as a true score wasn't kept and the course set up was much different than it will be in the tournament.I'm still leaning toward wagering on her but I'm interested in any opinions you guys might have,
Well they have us talking about it dont they. When I heard she had played the couse and didnt do well I didnt metion she didnt finish the back nine as was already 5 over. Par 70 is going to be super hard for her to make the cut driving 275 avg. Im not sure if the couse has been redone lately to play for the modern players meaning she plays into the old couses hazards and traps. I just dont like her chances the men dont want her in the tourny and you can bet a lot of heckeling will be going on in the stands. I wish her luck, but I doubt if she makes the cut
