I placed these wagers tonight in The Sony Open

1. Ernie Els (-145) vs Vijay Singh
After watching him play last week I can't imagine not betting on him.

2.KJ Choi (-105) vs Chas Howell III
KJ is a machine. His swing repeats itself every time. A straight hitter that is well suited to this narrow, old style course.

3. Chris Riley(-125) vs Chris Dimarco
A low ball hitter with one of the best short games around. Perfect for this course, a lot will be heard from Chris this year.

4. John Cook(-105) vs Tom Lehman
Cookie is always a good bet in Hawaii and on the desert courses.

5. Stewart Cink (-155) vs Rich Beem
I will continue to bet against the Beemer until he proves me wrong.

I'd rather get strokes than give them. With the young studs I play with i can usually negotiate 2 a side.

I know NOTHING about Golf...this is golf, tight?

I did play these...I got better lines on almost every one at MVP. Are most of these matches on Thursday?

Thanks for posting...good luck!

your matches start on Thurs and go thru Sun providing both players make the cut which comes after Fri round. If one player makes the cut and one doesn't the player that makes the cut is the winner. If both players miss the cut the player with the lower score after 2 rounds is the winner. If both players make the cut the player with the lowest score after 4 rounds on Sun is the winner. Go to PGA Tour .com and go to Full Field scores to keep track of your bets.

I forgot to mention that the golf odds can change pretty quick as they don't get the action that some of the other sports get and 1 or 2 large wagers can change the odds quite a bit.

Isn't any of this over yet? I hate golf. Give me a horse race anytime. I'll even take bowling. I like winning or losing my money faster than this.

The earliest one of these bets will be won or lost is late tonight after the 36 hole cut is determined. I will keep you posted. There is a long way to go but looks good so far.

I just read it..thanks. I feel bad though. I never read my PM's and just found out that there were many that I missed. Some were from a month or so ago.

It does look good so far. The update is much appreciated.
