Now that we are finally into 2004 and things are slowing down a bit I am finally able to get the long anticipated BettorNetwork.com Poker Game organized. While I would like this to become a regular event we will start small and try to pull a game together for next Friday. Here are the specifics....
The game will be held at Empire Poker. You will need an account there in order to play. Here is there link: http://www.empirepoker.com/index.htm?wm=1702460
Buy-in will be $50 so you will need to deposit at least that much in order to play. I suggest depositing $500 though because they offer a 20% bonus for new accounts. Once you have your account open send me an email at [email protected] with your Empire Poker Screen Name so I can add you to the table list. Mine is M_Cash if you already play there. Feel free to add me to your buddy list if you like. I play at least once a day usually.
Once I have everyone's info I will send out an email to try and find the best time Friday for everyone to play. The game will be Texas Hold Em and I will email out the password for our private room sometime Friday morning.
Everyone that plays in the game that doesn't already have a BettorsNetwork.com Golf Shirt will get one for playing with us.

Have you figured what blind you're going to start with . . . 5/10? Also, will it be pot limit?

Not sure yet Vick, I wanna keep it small. Pot limit may be a good idea but I was think more like 1/2, 2/4 or maybe 3/6. $50 won't go to far in 5/10.
Let see what kinda crowd turns out and then we can see what happens. I just want everyone to have a good time and not get hurt if they aren't really that familiar with the game.
