As of this morning the only people in the Gamblers Ave March Madness contest are T-Bone and Fingerlakes. Very disappointed in this to say the least. It was very hard to coordinate all of this as well as get Gamblers Ave to generously put up some prize money. The entry fee is only $50 AND you get to keep that money to bet with so I am not sure what the problem is.
So, with that being said if I don't see a good turnout by the start of the tourney thursday you can consider all future CappersNetwork contests effectively cancelled and that includes any prize for this months POD.
I have shelled out hundreds of dollars in contest winnings to the members of this site. Not to mention thousands assembling a site that has always AND always will be free to every last one of you. I don't think that it is too much to ask for a little participation from those reaping the benefits of my generosity.
Sorry I gotta go this route but I am tired of giving out free money to those that just take it and run. This is a site for everyone, not an ATM machine for a few.

I am sorry to hear that only a few people have signed up so far. I would like to participate, however, I will be in Utah skiing Thursday through Monday. I will continue to contribute as much as I can to this great forum, and support you and your sponsors! Thanks again for all you do!

Understanding all the MC has done to promote more participation, my feeling is that this is a particular difficult contest to keep up on as you would need to post everygame the day of before the first tipoff.
Personally, I did not enter because I will be in Mammoth over the weekend and will not have computer access. I don't know if this is the biggest reason for non-participation in this contest, but it is certainly not an excuse for all those that come and go on a daily basis only taking from this forum and not participating in the multiple contests and forums.
It is time that everyone start giving back as you have all benefit in some way from Cappersnetwork in the past and present.

I appreciate everyone's comments and providing reasons if they aren't playing which really isn't needed. It wasn't meant to be an ultimatum or anything like that I just wanted to express a little frustration at nobody in particular.
Now with the impending war, a lot of people travelling for the Tourney it may just be a bad time. It happens.
But nobody should feel bad or want to explain themselves. I appreciate all of you that visit everyday and use what we've put together and shared to beat the man. I was just thinking out loud is all.
