This note is to let everyone know that I am suspending the POD Contest until further notice.
It's a lot of work to put this contest on and tally the records and the participation is pathetic to say the least. Until we get some new blood that can actually make it a worthy competition I am going to suspend play.
As soon as we get some more players who are new or newly eligible to win again the contest will be back.
Thanks to Tbone, Vickie and FastBreak for all their help with the contest.

The bummer about it is that the sportbooks don't seem to realize the value of the "current" player. They always want "new" ones for these contests.
They should spend more time cultivating their relationships with good customers.

I actually need to step in, this was MY choice, not the choice of Players SB. Due to the poor turnout and their 365 day restriction I decided that it wasn't really fair or worth all the effort to put on the contest for the same 5 people each month.
They are more than happy to continue with the contest but we really need some new blood in here before I bring it back. The way it was going it wasn't even fun, it was a chore and it shouldn't be that way.
When we pick back up again, it will be back for sure!

Gotcha. Definitely makes sense from your standpoint.
I just think there'd be more traffic if more people were eligible. Contests tend to be sticky to new posters, can help traffic.
