White Sox @ Indians | Jacobs Field | 7:05 p.m.
M. Buehrle (L) 4-0, 1.33 vs. D. Baez (R) 2-1, 5.52

Scouting report:
Your move, Cleveland. Last week, the Indians went to Comiskey on a 10-game winning streak and were swept in three and outscored, 24-8. Buehrle beat Baez in last Wednesday's matchup. Chicago cooled down after that series, so we'll see if Kenny Lofton & Co. hit The Jake running.

@ Marlins @ Braves | Turner Field | 7:35 p.m.
B. Penny (R) 1-1, 4.82 vs. K. Millwood (R) 2-1, 3.09

Scouting report:
Millwood had to make an emergency appearance for Greg Maddux last Wednesday, and pitched well enough to win on short notice. He faced the Marlins one start before that, losing at Florida despite striking out seven. Penny's only strong outing has been on the road, a four-hit shutout at Montreal on April 4. He had a no-decision Wednesday against Philadelphia.

@ Tigers @ Royals | Kauffman Stadium | 8:05 p.m.
M. Redman (L) 0-2, 6.87 vs. P. Byrd (R) 3-0, 3.26

Scouting report:
Byrd is the first Royals pitcher to win his first three starts since Kevin Appier in 1995. Bret Saberhagen was the last Royal to go 4 for his first 4, winning his first six overall. Redman went six innings Wednesday against Tampa Bay and scattered just five hits in a no-decision. He may be due; his pitch count (118 last time) is gradually working up and his ERA gradually working down.

@ Angels @ Mariners | SAFECO Field | 10:05 p.m.
S. Schoeneweis (L) 1-2, 5.14 vs. J. Moyer (L) 2-1, 3.52

Scouting report:
Moyer won twice during the M's 10-0 trip, and in each start he threw at least 100 pitches despite leaving after five innings. Moyer walked no batters in his first two starts, and a combined seven in his last two. Schoeneweis lost to the Mariners April 11 at Anaheim, and hasn't been the same since his impressive season-opener.
