Never bet hockey before. I understand how the pucks work, but when you bet the moneyline on a favorite and there's a tie, is it a push or do you lose?

MoneyLines are the predominant wager type in Hockey. You have to be a very solid Hockey guy to play Puck Lines.

Here are the rules direct from Olympic.....

NHL Hockey

a. Wager on a hockey game by using moneylines, Canadian pucklines, Eastern pucklines, game totals, and team totals.
b. Wagering on various periods. Periods include 1st Period, 2nd Period, and 3rd Period.
c. Wagering on Futures & Propositions: Ex. Odds to win the Stanley Cup

NHL Hockey Rules

1. For wagering purposes, a hockey game (pro or college) becomes official after fifty-five (55) minutes of play.
2. Games lasting under official time constitue "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and all money is refunded.
3. Games must take place on the site and date scheduled. (unless otherwise specified)
4. Overtime scores are included on all game peroid wagers. Third Period wagering does NOT include overtime scores.
5. Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here.

If you are serious about making money but not real good at hockey I suggest you take a STRONG look into purchasing Ben Burns hockey plays. I am not ashamed to say that he made me more then a little bit of money last year. If anyone is interested let me know and I will get with him and see if he may want to offer a special discount for our visitors.

Olympic doesn't offer money lines, per se. For instance, they will have

Rangers -1/2 (+120)

So, you will have to take the puck line in order to get the money line! Is that right? I can't just get a money line, without pucks.

JT, u are incorrect sir.

For hockey Olympic offers:

Spead
Total
Money Line
Puck Line

Like today for the first game NJ/Ott

Spread NJ Even/Ott -.5
Total Over 5 -130/ Under 5 +110
Money Line NJ +125/ Ott -145
Puck Line NJ +.5/ Ott -1

Thanks, I didn't think that they had a money line, but I stand corrected. I was looking in the wrong place. I wish I would have figured it out last night!
