I do a lot of betting but do not understand run lines. Can anyone let me in on this?
I will see if RBI is feeling well later and see if I can get him in here to explain it. He's a lot more versed on Baseball then I, but here is the short answer.
It's basically like the puck line in hockey, or in a even wierder way like a point spread. Usually they are +/- 1.5 and give you better odds then the ML. Sometimes they will actually put a team that is a fav on the ML and make them a dog on the RL. But, like with the spread your team has to cover the 1.5 runs. Doesn't seem like a lot but it's really hard to be successfull at bases using the RL.
That is my spin. I'm sure RBI will come in and clean this up a bit though. So don't bet the house just yet!

Thanks MC just was not clear. So it is better just to stay away from them and straight bet unless RBI can help me more. Thanks for the info.
