Huge WINNER on the Field bet including Kurt Busch at 30-1. Here is my write up from Thursday:
* The field bet @ Gambler's Ave includes Kurt Busch! I guess this shop thinks he will not be racing Saturday night. I am confident that Busch will be in the lineup! Busch is listed at +600 at most shops, and as low as +400. With this wager we can get him +3000.......
Busch won the spring race here in 2002, when he bumped Jimmy Spencer, starting their fued. The feud has lingered for a year and a half. Last Sunday, Spencer punched Busch out in the garage after the race. Busch filed assualt charges against Spencer. NASCAR suspended Spencer (not Busch) for this weekends races at Bristol. Busch is on "probation", but will not miss any races.
Bottom line: GA has made a huge mistake here, and I will take full advantage! I expect the odds to change, or Busch to be removed from the field bet shortly after I post this. My wager is in, confirmed, and I have a printout (time stamped) of the field bet.
Go get some $$$$$$$$
I Like Gordon to Win this week and next week at Darlington. He has had success at both tracks, and will get out of his funk of recent bad luck. I will be playing him in both races. But, I can't ignore the value of the "field wager".
