Detroit (Bernero) @ Arizona (Johnson)

Well I am going to be playing the over in this game and I will give you a few very food reasons.

Detroit sends out Adam Bernero with a 2-2 record and an ERA of 6.37 with a WHIP of 1.542 the over is 3-1 when he pitches, in his last three trips to the mound he has been hammered with an ERA of 8.44 and a very inflated WHIP of 2.00. This is his first trip to the mound against the defending world champions.

Johnson takes the hill for the Diamondbacks with a 9-2 record and an ERA of 2.80 and a WHIP of 1.049. He has 3 starts against the Tigers since '97 with the over going 2-1. The over is also 11-3 when he pitches and 5-3 when he pitches at home.

The Tigers offense is averaging 3.2 runs a game against left-handed starters while allowing their opponents to score 5.9 and the bullpen has been absolutely no help while they are on the highway with an ERA of 6.08 and a WHIP of 1.584 giving up a whopping 14 home runs.

The Arizona offense has had no trouble scoring at home averaging 6.3 runs a game but are allowing their opposition to score 5.1. The bullpen has had allot of trouble lately in the last 3 games where they were involved they have an ERA of 7.92.

The clincher to this play for me is the home plate umpire Mark Wegner he has been behind the plate 14 times this year and the over has come in 9 times. Teams are averaging 11.14 runs a game when he makes the calls.

The bottom line is I don't think the loss last night is sitting well with the D-Backs and they will come out tonight with a vengence, they give Johnson plenty of run support and may cover this number themselves.

Playing Over 7.5 +100

Whats up with this RBI guy, climbs
out of the hospital bed, saddles
up to his puter, and makes sence,
as if he never left.
Welcome back RBI.
