Tampa Bay (James) @ Boston (Lowe)

Well I don't usually like laying this big a price but just can't pass this one up!

The Devil Rays send rookie Devlin James to the mound who has been very impressive so far this year in two starts he has an ERA of 2.45 a WHIP of 1.182, striking out 6 walking 5 and allowing 1 homerun. This is his first trip to Bean Town and it can be a very intimidating place to play.

The rejuvenated Red Sox send Derek Lowe to the mound who has been very solid this year with a 3-1 record, ERA of 2.67, a WHIP of 0.852, fanning 17 while walking 8 and not giving up a home run yet this year, He has two starts against Tampa with Boston getting wins in both of his trips to the hill against them. He has an ERA of 3.75 a WHIP of 0.917 in 12 innings pitched against the Devil Rays.

The Sox bullpen was rocked in the first game of the year but has settled down with a 3.10 ERA in their last 3 games. The Devil Rays pen has been anything but solid on the road with an ERA of 9.00 and that won't get any better today as I see the Red Sox getting to the rookie pitcher.

The Homeplate umpire Steve Ripley has a very strong tendency to call allot of strikes and I think that is in our favor here also with a veteran pitcher and a very strong advantage with Boston on the offensive side of the game, Boston is hitting a very impressive .320 as a team against right handed pitchers in their last 5 games while the Tampa bats have been quiet batting .218 on the road against righties.

I see a rookie pitcher making his first trip to an historic park against a team that has vastly improved this year especially at home where they are 4-1 in their last 5 being a little nervous and giving up a few early runs while Lowe should have little trouble keeping the Tampa bats in check. The Devil Rays are 2-7 on the road this season and really can't see that getting any better here today!

Playing Boston Red Sox -182

That's great RBI...but how about the PAY service. I would love to see those plays do SOMETHING...ANYTHING.

Boston was a pay play, and let's not count the games that I have lost by bullpens losing in the late innings if bullpens could hold a lead pay plays would be way up go and look back at the games I have lost by bullpens blowing it. This is without a doubt my worst start in baseball in my career but you can bet one thing and take it to the bank! I will get out of this bad streak and I WILL WIN money by the end of the year! BET ON IT!

I am betting on it! Just wish the pay plays were kicking ass too. All the best.

I do to brother and they will! Believe me when I tell you everytime you lose I lose and I hate losing more than you can ever imagine because I know I am not the only one that loses when I do.

I can second what Robert says. He takes it hard when the picks he sends out loses. He is more worried about his clients than for himself. And that's something I have never seen in a capper before. Don't worry. It will turn around. And if it doesn't, then it's roadtrip to Fla. time! LOL
