The Nationals, just keep playing steady baseball and everyday, they are in first place, their confidence is growing. Tonight they send Livan Hernandez to the mound, who has a 5-1 lifetime mark against the Bluejays and that record was mostly built against better Toronto teams then the one he will be facing tonight. On the other hand Ted Lilly who pitches for the Jays has only 2 lifetime decisions against the old Expo team with a record of 1-1. Yes he did have a ERA of 1.50, but there is only a couple of problems. This is not the old Expo team, that people didn't show up to watch and never felt they had a chance. This is the new National team, that is in first place and hungry to win for the huge crowd every night.
