Scott Spreitzer's 2006 COLLEGE BASKETBALL GAME OF THE YEAR!
COLORADO

I'm laying the points with Colorado as my College Game of the Year! What a difference a month has made for the Iowa State Cyclones. When they hosted CU in early February, ISU had Big Dance aspirations with a 14-7 mark. Since then, the Cyclones have dropped 5 of 7 SU, and the inside game that was mediocre back then is non-existent now. ISU has lost 4 straight away from Hilton Coliseum, including a demoralizing, 18-point loss at Baylor in their last away game. Meanwhile, the Buffs are still hoping to dance later this month. The main reason has been the way they protect their home floor. CU is 14-1 SU in Boulder, winning by an average score of 84-64. In the loss at ISU, the Cyclones couldn't miss during their 51-point second half. They were also aided by quick whistles that went in their favor. CU leader Richard Roby fouled out with 13-! minutes left in the game, scoring just 10 points on 4-12 shooting. The Buffs were riding a 5-game win streak, but hadn't played in 8 days and they were rusty! CU turned it over 18 times. And, they were slow in extending their defense, which allowed ISU's backcourt to go off! They won;t be rusty and a step-slow this time. As mentioned above, ISU no longer has an inside game. During their current 4-game road skid, they are on the wrong side of a minus-39 rebound margin...almost 10 per game. ISU allows 74 ppg on 46% shooting, which is last in the Big-12. This is absolute payback and the Buffs roll by 20 on senior night! I'm laying it with Colorado as my College Game of the Year! Thanks! Good Luck! Scott.

BIG AL

MICHIGAN ST
MICHIGAN
TEXAS TECH

Our 3 selections include Michigan State, Michigan, and Texas Tech.
Texas Tech -- At 1:30 pm, our selection is on team 526, Texas Tech, as we will fade Texas A&M after its big, emotional, last-second win over rival Texas. Look for Bobby Knight's crew to avenge its 8 point loss suffered at College Station earlier this season. Lay the points.
Michigan -- At 2:30 pm (time change), our selection is on team 524, the Michigan Wolverines, as Indiana is a terrible 0-12 ATS on the road since 1994 off a double digit road win. With the Hoosiers in off an 11-point win over rival Purdue, we'll take the home standing Michigan Wolverines to avenge their loss to the Hoosiers earlier this year. Lay it.
Michigan State -- At 12 Noon, our selection is on team 522, Michigan State, as the Spartans are 11-1 ATS since 2002 when playing with same-season revenge. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my other 3-game package today, or my Conference Tourney Revenge Game of the Year out of a 25-2 ATS system, or my early winner on TV out of a 15-0 angle.

==========

BIG AL ESPN GAME

CINCY 100% SYSTEM

At 12 Noon, our selection is on team 518, the Cincinnati Bearcats, who are 15-0 ATS at home since 1990, if Cincy's win percentage is less than .700, and its foe has a win percentage of .550 or better, and the Bearcats are not favored by more than 9 points. Cincinnati needs to win this game if it is to have any chance at making the NCAA Tournament, and they catch WVU in a vulnerable spot following the Mountaineers' emotional win over their rival Pittsburgh. The Bearcats have revenge from a 9-point loss earlier this year. Take Cincy. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my Conference Tournament Revenge Game of the Year today out of a 25-2 ATS system, or my 3-game package.

=============================
BIG AL TOURNEY BLOWOUT

At 7 pm, our selection is on team 650, Wisconsin Milwaukee over Loyola Chicago. The Panthers will be playing at home at US Cellular Arena, and they also haven't played in 11 days, so they're going to be very well rested. And rested home teams off a win are a perfect 13-0 ATS since 1992 in conference tourney action vs. unrested .333 (or better) foes off a neutral court win. This will be a blowout. Take Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my other huge plays today, including my Conference Tourney Revenge Game of the Year or my 15-0 ATS early winner on TV, or my 3-game package

======================

BIG AL'S TOURNEY REVENGE GAME

At 8:20 pm, our Conference Tourney Revenge Game of the Year is on team 638, the Hofstra Pride over VCU, as Hofstra seeks revenge from an 87-64 loss at VCU in December. And Hofstra falls into a great 25-2 ATS system of mine that plays on certain teams with same season revenge that have at least 3 days of rest, provided they're favored by more than 2 points and off a point spread loss. VCU last played a week ago at home vs. Drexel and won by 2 points as a 6.5-point favorite. With VCU locked into a tight game yesterday (a 62-59 win over William and Mary), they were unable to rest any of their players for today's game, so Hofstra will have more energy today. This will be a rout. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my other big winners today, including a 15-0 ATS winner in an early game and a 3-game package.

4 BEST BET
CINCINNATI over West Virginia by 14
After a shaky 3-2 start on their home floor, the Bearcats have
taken back the Shoe. Ten wins in the last 12 at Shoemaker Center
(and just two points from winning six straight here) tells us that
UC is still a force on its home floor. Today, in their last home
game and their last chance to make a case for interim coach
Andy Kennedy (the players love him), the Bearcats will bring
everything they have to the court and leave nothing behind.
Cincinnati took a nine-point loss at Morgantown earlier this
season, giving us a chance to test the Bearcats' impressive 14-1
SU log at home with revenge. With West Virginia coming off
back-to-back home revenge wins with Louisville and Pittsburgh,
don't look for an enthusiastic effort from the Mounties. They
have other things on their minds. Cincinnati doesn't.

Vegas Experts Tip Of The Day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Baylor Bears are on a run of four straight pointspread covers as they finish out their abbreviated season with a game at Oklahoma State. Can the Bears run their pointspread streak to five?

Baylor won a big one Thursday night in its home finale when it upset Texas Tech by 11 as a one-point dog. It was its second win in its last three games and BAYLOR is 5-15 ATS in road games after having won 2 of their last 3 games since 1997. Oklahoma State has covered three-of-four itself and has won five straight over the Bears including two at home by an average margin of 31 points.

Play on: Oklahoma State
