College Basketball Betting Odds: Matchups for Feb. 16

Virginia (18-6 SU, 14-6-1 ATS) at North Carolina (16-8 SU, 13-9 ATS)

Last game: (1/6/13). VIRGINIA (-3) over North Carolina, 61-52. Don't look now but Virginia (8-3 ACC) is a contender in the ACC, while North Carolina (6-5 ACC) needs to finish strong to get off the bubble. Virginia has won three straight, including a 73-55 win over Virginia Tech, giving 14. Virginia wants to slow this down, while North Carolina wants to push the tempo. North Carolina is coming off a tough loss at Duke on Wednesday night, 73-68. Virginia is 3-9-1 ATS last 13 road games. College Basketball Odds: North Carolina is a 4-point favorite. Total: NT.

#16 Pittsburgh (20-5 SU, 9-9 ATS) at #18 Marquette (17-6 SU, 9-10 ATS)

Last game: (1/12/13) Marquette (+10.5) over PITTSBURGH, 74-67ot. Pittsburgh (8-4 BE) will try to remain inthe top four. Pittsburgh is out for revenge after Vander Blue torched them for 22 points in their first game at Pitt. The Panthers have won three straight including an impressive 62-52 road win last Saturday, getting 1. Marquette is coming off a 63-55 loss at Georgetown on Monday, getting 5. Marquette shoots just 29.5% from three-point range, while Pitt shoots 36%. Marquette is 8-3 ATS last 11 Saturday games. College Basketball Line: Pittsburgh is a 1-point favorite. Total: NT.

Oklahoma (16-7 SU, 12-7 ATS) at #17 Oklahoma State (18-5 SU, 12-9-1 ATS)

Last game: (1/12/13) OKLAHOMA (-2) over Oklahoma State, 77-68. Oklahoma (7-4 B12) won the first game at home and now they travel to their rival for an important game as they currently sit on the bubble to make the NCAA Tournament. Oklahoma State, led by guard Marcus Smart and Markel Brown, has won six straight including a 91-67 road win over Texas Tech on Feb. 13, giving 12. Brown had 25 points against the Red Raiders in the last outing . Favorite is 6-2 ATS last 8 in series. College Basketball Odds: Oklahoma State is an 8.5-point favorite. Total: NT.

#1 Duke (22-2 SU, 13-11 ATS) at Maryland (17-7 SU, 7-9-1 ATS)

Last game: (1/26/13) DUKE (-12) over Maryland, 84-64. Duke (9-2 ACC) is coming off a 73-68 home win over North Carolina, giving 10.5. That was their main rival while Maryland is their second rival but that will end when Maryland heads to the Big 10 in 2014-15. They handled Maryland in the first game by 20 at home. This is Maryland's (5-6) last chance to earn an at-large bid since their only quality win was over NC State. Maryland fell at home to Virginia, 80-69 in their last game on Feb. 9. Maryland is 2-6 ATS last 8 Saturday games. Hoops Odds: Kansas is a 4-point favorite. Total: NT.

Baylor (16-8 SU, 10-9 ATS) at #10 Kansas State (19-5 SU, 9-10-1 ATS)

Last game: (3/8/12). BAYLOR (-2) over Kansas State, 82-74. Baylor (7-4 B12) are just two games out of first place in the Big 12. Pierre Jackson (19.1ppg) leads Baylor but has to be a little more unselfish. They've won two straight after beating West Virginia on Wednesday, 80-60, laying 8 at home. Kansas State (8-3 B12) is led by Rodney McGruder, who averages 15ppg. They were drilled at Kansas, 83-62, getting 7.5 on Monday. That helped a four-game winning streak. Underdog is 12-4 ATS last 16 in series. College Basketball Lines: Kansas State is a 4.5-point favorite Total: NT.
