Big 4* hit on NJ Devils +130 Friday. Everyone I know and respect was on Ottawa, but I held firm. That absorbs some of the blow from losing on them Wednesday with my 10* NHL GOY. A road game is what Brodeur needed, with all the distractions from the divorce papers he was served with Wednesday (for banging his sister-in-law!)

NASCAR (Busch race)

Solid value with the Jack Rousch owned Ford team that dominated the Busch series last year. This year Biffle is a rookie on the Winston Cup series, and has shown some promise. In this race he is stepping back down to the series he owned a year ago, and I look for a strong run. Biffle will be starting 12th, giving him an ample opportunity to move up front, and get in a position to win. My contacts tell me he is coming to win this race, and use it as a springboard to build momentum for the last 2/3 of the Winston Cup schedule. Solid value here, and worth a shot!

What a shock! A Jack Rousch owned Ford wins again at Charlotte. Biffle ran in the top 10 the whole day, but spun out with 3 laps to go. He was running 5th at the time. Teammate Matt Kenseth won under caution as a result of Biffle's spin. I did place a 1/4* (opinion play) on Kenseth on principle alone. This was not posted ,and will not be included in my daily card record.
Kenseth only paid +500, which is why I passed on him as my 1* play (lack of value). Hindsight is 20/20, can't wait for tomorrow.
What are u still doing home? U should be at Humpy's place getting loaded. Get to the race!

MC, I am not at home! I am at our hotel room in Charlotte. Just got in from the Busch race, everyone is napping. I am still drinkin' and gamblin'....LOL! We're going out around 7:30, getting hammered then sleeping late tomorrow. Wake up, drink beer, place bets, watch INDY 500, and then meet up with friends. Drink all day, take in the Coca Cola 600, and party until about 1:00 AM. We go to the speedway club for a champaigne toast with the winning driver, usually around 11:00 PM. Welcome to my world. I thought you were in Costa Rica?!
I was kidding about Costa Rica. I know you are going in a few weeks. Wish you could have made it down here with us. We'll work it out next year!
