I have been waiting for this day for several months. As promised to my followers, I would be at +5000 mark for the year by the end of August. Well, we got there, and now it's time to roll with football.

Clemson/GA- This will be my top play of the month for September. GA has entirely new offensive line, and they are young. The key to this game will be the Clemson receivers vs. GA DBs. GA is missing 5 DBs, 2 LBs, and 2DL due to graduation, NFL, injuries, and suspensions. Look for Clemson to play more solid on special teams, as that cost them the game in Athens last year (31-28 loss). Clemson will play inspired, and they want this game more! UGA is walking into a hornet's nest here, trust me!

Auburn/USC- Auburn won their last 2 games of the year vs. AlaBama and Penn St as underdogs. Now they have heard how great they are for 8 months, and open as favorites in this game, against a very solid and well coached USC team. Some are picking Auburn to win the SEC, and even the National Championship. Not so fast. This team historically underachieves with the pressure of high expectations. Sources say this USC will be one of the best in the country by the end of the year. The only question will be the play they get from untested QB. I look for a tight low scoring afair, with the points giving a huge advantage to pointspread players. Key matchup will be USC recievers against Auburn secondary. If USC scores early (like I think), Auburn team is not built to play from behind.

Florida St/UNC- This game reminds me of the Miami/La Tech matchup. Florida St remembers the 42-9 loss at Chapel Hill 2 years ago, and will have no mercy. This FSU team will be better than most expect, and they will prove it in game 1 vs. an anemic UNC squad. REVENGE!

Ohio St/Washington- Home team was perfect ATS in Ohio St games last year, and I am not about to buck the trend here! This is a classic case of the strong vs. the weak. OSU will be a better team than they were last year. I am not saying they will go undefeated, because that requires several breaks to go your way. Defense will be better, stronger, and faster than last year (scary!) Washington is soft, and cannot run the ball. No way they can hang with superior OSU team, in hostile setting for an away night game. I am not worried about the suspended Clarett in this one. Backup RBs will do just fine. OSU will be efficiant on offense, and dominate on defense. Star QB and WR combo for Huskies are in for a nightmare game!

SC/ULL- I will be at this game Saturday night. I don't think there is any way LOU will cover the big number in this one. He has to have something to "Bitch/poor-mouth" about with 2 huge revenge games on deck (Virginia/Georgia). LOU usually doesn't cover the big number in these setups, and I will take a small play on the road dog here.

Well, I could not have been more wrong on the Clemson/UGA game! I apologize, that was a pathetic. No Excuses.
On the positive side, I could not have been more on the $ about USC, Ohio St, Fla St, and UL Lafayette.
I am passing on all MLB and College Football for Sunday. I will be at the NASCAR race on Sunday, having a grand 'ol time.
I'll check back Monday or Tuesday, have a safe Holiday weekend!
