Tennessee vs. Florida, Take Tennessee Volunteers
Jerry Johnson says to take the Vols + 7 for a 1 unit play on Wednesday night in college hoops. Tennessee can play with anyone in the country. This team is ranked and ready to show the Gators that they are the best in the SEC. This game will be hard fought all the way to the buzzer. Grab the points and enjoy the winner
California State - Northridge vs. Pacific, Take Pacific Tigers
In this contest, my money is on the Pacific Tigers. This might seem like a lot of points but I
don't see why you wouldn't be siding with the Tigers. Pacific is at home where they are 10-3
SU and 5-3 ATS and have outscored the opposition by 13 ppg. I also love this team because
they will be coming into this game breathing fire. They suffered an embarrasing home OT loss
in their last contest, a game where they were 11 1/2 point favorites. That was more of an
abberation than anything else as they had won their previous 7 games and had gone 4-1-1
ATS during that span. Take the Tigers.

Today's Pick: NC STATE
CBB
North Carolina vs. NC State
9:00 EST
After losing five straight times to rival North Carolina, including a 82-69 road loss last month, expect the Wolfpack to be extremely fired up for tonight's meeting. The young Tar Heels are having an excellent season. However, tonight they will face a strong NC State team which is 6-0 at home in ACC play and 15-1 at home for the season overall. Look for the Wolfpack, 31-19 ATS their last 50 conference games, to rise to the occasion as the Tar Heels fall to 0-5 ATS on Wednesdays this season. Play on NC STATE.
Vegas Experts - Tip Of The Day
Boston Celtics at Phoenix Suns
Wednesday, February 22, 9:05 P.M. EST
Bad matchups all over the floor in this one for the Celts. They got their win last night knowing here they step up in class to face the rested Suns. Supporting angles say to Play On - Favorites (PHOENIX) - a good team (+3 to +7 PPG diff.) against an average team (+/- 3 PPG diff.) after 42+ games, after scoring 100 points or more 3 straight games (72-35 since 1996.), Play On - Favorites (PHOENIX) - after 2 straight games outrebounding opponent by 10 or more. (125-74 over the last 5 seasons and Play On - Home favorites (PHOENIX) - a good team (+3 to +7 PPG diff.) against an average team (+/- 3 PPG diff.) after 42+ games, after scoring 100 points or more 3 straight games. (43-20 since 1996.)

The Nightmare"
Self proclaimed King of the NBA
ATL-1 (olympic) ...... 3* -Seattle is a overrated team with a very poor defense, they just got clobbered by the champs and now head to atl,not a good travel spot for seattle, add to that r lewis was injured and might not play, atl is much better at home and have been improving, they also have revenge, and they know this is a game they could win.i like atl in this spot to pull off the win at home.
CHICAGO -5 ..........3* -Chicago is getting their act together and played a great game last time out vs phily at home,i think its continues as i look for chicago to turn it around in the 2nd half of the season, they are healthy and ready to play good basketball like they did last year, gordon is on top of his game, deng playing good also, they are also well rested and having been waiting for this game, they know they need to get off to a good start in 2nd half of season to make a push for the playoffs and i think they start it off well here, they also have revenge, mil is in a very tough spot here, off a heartbreaking loss last night game they let slip away now head to chicago and play a rested motivated hungry chciago team not good scenario for them,i see a letdown for them as they are still thinking about the game they let slip away last night.chicago comes away with a nice win here and covers.
Portland/cha .under 193.5.......6*- for those that know me know that portland games at home and dallas games are my bread and butter under games, and wow this line is at least 10 pts off, portland at home runs a slow paced methodical offense without many fastbreaks, they also play much better defense at home, cha on the other hand has so many injuries i dont see where all these points will come from to put this over, the amount of shots taken and this total, over betters will need at least 48% from both teams for this to go over,i dont think that happens as neither team will hit 95,maybe not even 90,this total has a potential of falling under by 15-20 pts.this should stay under!!!!

1ST 500,000* COLLEGE LOCK OF MY LIFE THIS SEASON AND PART 41 OVERALL Plus Bonus Lock
Your winners here are on:
1. 500,000* Penn State
2. 100,000* Va. Tech
1. Come on with this!??!?! This Indiana Hoosiers squad is terrible and has less then no momentum at all. They are laying around double digits to a team that beat them last week and a team that is better then them. Sure Penn State is still far from being a quality hoops program but they are much improved and are playing against an Indiana squad that has stunk for awhile now.
Marco Killingworth at times is a beast down low and Vaden is decent but without DJ White this team has done nothing of late after beating some cupcakes earlier in the season.
The Nittany Lions are no joke. They continue to impress game after game and the oddsmakers have yet to catch up with them because they are "Penn State". Think about it, they came back down about 15 in Illinois to shock the Illini, then outplayed Indiana and just won as the dog in Purdue. Not too shabby huh!?!?!? The oddsmaker is acting as if they just will not show up tonight and get drilled against Indiana but the Hoosiers don't win anymore, no less drill an opponent.
Indiana just needs to win any game these days by any margin. To ask them to beat a decent enough team by double digits or so is just flat out silly!
2. Miami and Virginia Tech are pretty much the same team. They have quality guard play and are both pretty much underachieving teams this season. This game may be in Miami but overall is still a 50-50 game. Sure Frank Haith has playmakers in Guillermo Diaz and Robert Hite but we have Jamon Gordon and better big men.
The Canes may win this game but they also may not and to get a handful plus in this spot is just too much. The Hokies have enough ability to win this game and certainly will be in it to the end.
200,000* BIG TEN GAME OF THE YEAR Plus Bonus Locks
Your winners here are on:
1. 200,000* Ohio State
2. 100,000* Tennessee
3. 50,000* Jazz
1. Sure Michigan State is final four material this season and sure they have blowout capability with Maurice Ager, Paul Davis, Drew Neitzel and others but to get a top 15 team in Ohio State with a revenge factor plus this number is more then fine with me.
In mid January the Spartans won in Buckeyeland in double overtime. Today Thad Matta's team will continue to play well as they have for awhile now, save the last few minutes in Madison against Wisconsin.
Thad Matta has a team that is as experienced as they come returning all five starters and it has really shown of late. This team may not be as good as the one with Michael Redd and Scoonie Penn but they are also not that far behind. Winning on the highway in the Big Ten is borderline impossible but the Buckeyes provesd they can do it in Ann Arbor a few weeks ago and may just repeat that feat again today.
This is not a mortal lock as the Spartans are dangerous on the offensive end of the court but the Buckeyes are going to be in this game wire to wire.
2. The Gators certainly have a matter of revenge themselves tonight as they lost about a month ago in Knoxville but Bruce Pearl is building something special and I just can't pass up this number. The road is always difficult and proved just that last week as the Vols were buried in Alabama. Today Pearl will get his guys ready to atone fo that embarassing last effort.
I like what Bill Donovan's team has done this season. These guys were expected to be in a rebuilding mode this season but Joakim Noah has emerged and the Gators are legitimately tough.
Tennessee has too much talent and is too ashamed of that last effort to not make a game of this thing in Gainesville. I'll take my chances with the athleticism of Tennessee plus a touchdown or so anywhere. There is a reason why these guys won in Texas by 20 and already beat Florida and other quality squads. This game should be close!
3. New Orleans has had an amazing season thus far thanks in part to the exceptional rookie play in Chris Paul and David West but they are still not as good as Utah and are laying too many points.
West has really come into his own after a few years of mediocrity but missed the game last night and may be too injured to play as well here.
Utah meanwhile is not a bad squad, I don't care how pisspoor they performed last night against Boston. They may make the playoffs and have talent with Andrei Kirilenko, Matt Harpring and others. When healthy the Jazz can compete with anybody as they have shown in beating the Pistons twice this season.
I think that Utah wins this game outright more then New Orleans does and to be getting such a generous number is awesome. The Hornets will come back down to Earth here in the second half of the season as they are just not that talented and overachieved too much in the first half.
Jerry Sloan is a quality coach and his Jazz should win this game outright!
