NHL
San Jose Sharks -.5 (-125)
The San Jose Sharks and Buffalo Sabres meet up tonight in the Silicon Valley in a game where the key trends might be buried The Sabres, struggling through off-ice financial woes, have been playing better hockey lately. With 5 ATS wins in their last 6 games the Sabres have been a bettors dream. The Sharks are the opposite with only 1 cover in their last six games. So the obvious play is Buffalo. However, if you look deeper you see that the last 10 times these teams have met, the home team is 8-0-2, both SU and ATS. Both teams are averaging 2.4 goals per game in their last five, but the Sharks have allowed an ugly 3.6 per night. The Sabres, even with recent success, are only 7-14 ATS when playing on the road. Tonight SharpAction.com is playing the San Jose Sharks (-0.5, -125).

NBA
Orlando Magic +2.5
Washington Wizards Owner/6th Man Michael Jordan once called Orlando Magic star Tracy McGrady the best young talent in the NBA. He may have been thinking back to the last two times the Magic and Wizards have met. Both times the Orlando-based club has easily walked away with a win, including a 112-95 win at the end of December. The Wizards (15-23 ATS) will likely be without Jerry Stackhouse for tonight’s game and will have trouble matching up with the Magic (20-20 ATS). The Wizards must not like the cooking at home and show it with a dismal 35% ATS win rate on home court. The Magic however are just as good away from Disneyworld as they are when Mickey Mouse is sitting front row, 10-10 ATS home and away. With a strong road team going against a weak home team, SharpAction.com is playing the Orlando Magic +2.5.

NCAA
Western Ky. -10
The Sun Belt Conference isn’t exactly a national hoops powerhouse, but they do have one squad that should be getting more attention than it is. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have a strong history and their 9-6 SU record is only a small glimpse of what this team is capable of. Tonight they play host to the Privateers of New Orleans, a team in disarray if there ever was one. The Privateers are only 14 games into the season, but they’ve already dismissed three players. While their record (5-1-1 ATS, 9-5 SU) is impressive, they’ll simply be overmatched tonight by the Hilltoppers, who have gone 4-1 ATS in their 5 and 8-2 ATS vs. the Privateers in their last 10 meetings. SharpAction.com is playing the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky –10 tonight.
