I don't think anyone should leave because other people think they should. If he feels he is ready then he should. He still thinks he can do the job and not be a liability to his team mates he should keep on going.
One bad afternoon shouldn't define a career.

that one seems easy to me...NO WAY! as long as the personal life doesn't require him to retire with wife battling cancer etc! he's a hell of a QB and hell of a competitor. Just had a bad day!

Favre is only 35...
He'll be back for at least 2 more years.

He's still better than half the starting QBs in the game. No reason to go. He just sucks in the playoffs.
