Believe me.... the Bungles do suck. But the situation does not! We have all seen how bad they are the last 3 weeks, but that said, someone explain why the line is not 9 or 9'. Why only 7?
This is my one post of today probably and it has a good message in it so read carefully.
Big T, here is the explanation that you are asking for...
The line is set like that to get action on the game. Duh you say? Not so fast.
The reason it is at 7 is because of the very reason that you are pointing it out to everyone. To get action on the Bengals. While they are far from stellar, 7 is a lot of points.
However, if you open the line at say 10 then you would get too much one sided action. While the Bengals do in fact suck, 10 points in not a reasonable amount for an also less then spectacular TB to cover. Linesmakers know that and that is why you see the Bengals at 7.
