Baseball's winningest team, the Atlanta Braves, is also the top team in the Majors in terms of Money Won. Going into Tuesday's action the Braves had a record of 80-43 and they were +20.4 units in the Money Won/Lost column as well. In terms of wins the Braves had a slim lead on Arizona and the Yankees. In Money Won the Braves were ahead of two American League surprises, Minnesota (+17.5) and Anaheim (+16.2), as well as the Diamondbacks (+15.2) and another surprise team from the American League, Baltimore (+14.1). Oakland (+10), Cincinnati (+9.7) and the Dodgers (+5.8) were the other teams significantly in the black. Atlanta is not only #1 in overall units one but also #1 in road units won (+13). It will get the opportunity to add to that total Wednesday night as it takes on the Padres in San Diego. Kevin Millwood will take the hill for the Braves as a -220 favorite over Dennis Tankersley of the Padres. The Dodgers (+12), Reds (11.5), D'Backs (+11) and Orioles (+9.5) have also all been strong on the road. The winningest home teams are Minnesota (+15.1), Colorado (+11.8), Montreal (+10.2) and Anaheim (+9.6).
