Cleveland (Colon) @ Texas (Valdes)

Well I am going to be taking the under in this game, everyone expects these two teams to score tons of runs but the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and I will tell you a few more reasons I think it will go under.

Cleveland sends Bartolo Colon to the mound here today he has 5 starts this year with 1 game going over and 4 of them going under. in his last 10 starts against the Rangers the under is 7-2-1. He has an ERA this year in three starts on the road of 3.68 and a WHIP of 1.045 with all 3 going under.

Texas counters with Ismael Valdes who has been a very good under bet this year with all 4 of his starts going under, he has a 3.96 ERA but a very solid WHIP of 1.080, he has two starts against the Indians both when he was with the Angels and the under was 1-1.

The Indian bullpen has been very solid this far with an ERA of 3.24 in 75 innings pitched, the Rangers bullpen has been less than impressive but I think that Valdes will go about 7 innings and the Indians are not exactly knocking the cover off of the ball and the Texas defense has actually been very solid with only 9 errors so far this year.

Home plate umpire Bruce Froemming has called 3 overs and 3 unders so far this year with 2 of the overs being totals of 8, teams have averaged 8.67 runs a game when he makes the calls he calls strikes at a 61.4% rate.

With these two pitchers combining for a total of 1 over and 8 unders and these two teams not hitting the ball well Texas has a team average of .235 against right handers in their last 5 games while the Indians are only batting .202 against them in the same 5 game span and I think we have a pretty good chance at cashing the under.

Playing Under 10 -107
