-336 Saturday

Foots -593

MLB: +257

Not a good day on the gridiron Saturday as I dropped my top 2 plays TN and Ohio State. I was DEAD wrong about the TN/GA game, no excuses! I apologize to all those that followed me on that one. Congrats to the DAWGS and their backers.

Huge turnaround in the BC/UVA game as 2* Virginia (+7.5) had a 14-7 lead at on point, the swing hurt....

Highlight of the day was nailing the 5 team parlay that paid back +2350. Wish it would have been for 1* instead of 1/4*....LOL

MLB playoffs continued to be solid as Astros hammered the Braves 7-3.

NFL: Sunday 10/9

1/2* NE PATS +1 +100

1/2* ARIZONA CARDS +3 -110 (Betcom)

1/2* JACKSONVILLE JAGS -3 -107

-----------------------------------------------

NASCAR: Chase race #4 Banquet 400 from Kansas 1:30 PM EST

1.5* GREG BIFFLE +700 (BoDog/Sportsbook.com)

1/2* KURT BUSCH +800 (Betcom/Mybookie)

*Analysis: This (Biffle wager) is one of 3 remaining plays that I knew I would be on even if you had asked me weeks ago. The other 2 are Jimmie Johnson at Charlotte (next week) and Kurt Busch at Phoenix on November 13th. The reason is simple, Biffle wants to WIN this race. He said so himself in an interview before the "Race to the Chase" began. Biffle feels he had the best car last time at Kansas, but things did not go his way. Before the chase started (final 10 races) he predicted he would be on top of the Championship points after this event. That means he is going to the front, planning to lead as many laps as possible, and looking for the WIN.

Biffle's teammate Kurt Busch is even more desperate after a terrible start in the final 10 race "Chase for the Championship". The defending Series Champ is now in 10th place 180 points behind Stewart, and the only way to get back in it is to lead the most laps and WIN races! Busch will be extremely aggressive, as he has nothing to lose at this point. Last year Jimmie Johnson went through the same thing, and proceeded to WIN 4 races in a row during this stretch getting back into the picture.......

1-1-1 in NFL
2nd straight week NASCAR play finished 2nd....OUCH! At +700 Biffle would need to Win that race 1 in 8 times as a break even point. There was value, just not a winner this time
