Last game: Dallas (+3') over NY GIANTS, 24-17.The Giants are coming off a 27-23 road win over Washington laying 6, while Dallas defeated Carolina on the road 19-14, giving 3. The Cowboys will be without top RB DeMarco Murray (foot), who had 131 rushing yards in the opener against the Giants. Dallas also lost top LB Sean Lee to an ACL and will need Dan Connor to step up. Eli Manning has averaged 315.6 ypg passing in winning 5 of his last 7 starts against Dallas. The Cowboys are 0-5 ATS L5 home games. The Giants are a 2-point favorite with a total of 47.5.
NFL Football: Atlanta (6-0) at Philadelphia (3-3)
Last year: ATLANTA (+2') over Philadelphia, 35-31. Atlanta is coming off a bye after a 23-20 win over Oakland, while Philadelphia, also off a bye, previously fell at home to Detroit, 26-23ot. The Eagles' defense will have a new defensive coordinator, as Todd Bowles takes over for Juan Castillo. But this will be more about whether Philly can run on Atlanta's shaky run defense. Andy Reid is 13-0 in games after a bye week. Atlanta is 10-2 ATS after a bye. Philadelphia is a 3-point favorite with a total of 45.
NFL Football: Seattle (4-3) at Detroit (2-2)
Seattle is coming off a bye as two weeks ago, they defeated New England, 24-23. Detroit is coming off a 13-7 loss at Chicago this past Monday night. This is a must-win for Detroit. QB Matthew Stafford has yet throw a first-half TD pass but has 5 picks. Rookie QB Russell Wilson needs a strong running game from Marshawn Lynch to help since dependable WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) is out. Detroit is 9-2 ATS L11 in October. Detroit is a 2.5-point favorite with a total of 43.
NFL Football: Miami (3-3) at NY Jets (3-4)
Last game: NY Jets (-3/40’) over MIAMI, 23-20ot. Miami is coming off a bye and previously defeated St. Louis, 17-14 at home giving 5 on Oct. 14. The Jets are coming off a road loss to New England, 29-26 in overtime. Both teams turned it over twice in the first game they played on Sept. 23 but it was an 18-yd interception return by LaRon Landry that was the difference for the Jets. Miami has the 4th-ranked rushing defense in the league (78.2ypg) and will look to stop Shonn Green. Miami is 3-1 ATS L4 in series. The Jets are a 2.5-point favorite with a total of 41.
NFL Football: New Orleans (2-4) at Denver (3-3)
There might be a few touchdowns in this game. Joe Vitt takes as interim coach for the rest of the year for the Saints after his six-game suspension. Denver’s pass defense allows just 215.3ypg (10th), but they will be tested against Drew Brees, who has thrown for 370-plus yards and 3+ touchdowns in his last three games.
