NFL Playoff Betting Odds and Bowl Preview: Jan. 6
Atssportsline.com

There are two more NFL matchups on Sunday and they feature three rookie quarterbacks in Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson and Robert Griffin III. There's another betting option with the GoDaddy.com Bowl. No, Danica Patrick has nothing to do with this bowl, but Kent State and Arkansas State play with one coach in his final game and another one already out of town.

Have a great Sunday!

Indianapolis (11-5 SU, 11-5 ATS, 6-10 O/U) at Baltimore (10-6 SU, 6-9-1 ATS, 9-7 O/U)

Last game: (12/11/11): BALTIMORE (-16.5) over Indianapolis, 24-10, Baltimore finished the season losing four of five though their final game-a 23-17 loss to Cincinnati-meant very little. Ray Lewis just announced hi retirement so this is final home game now that Cincinnati fell on Saturday. Indianapolis has won two straight and five of their last six. They completely turned their season around (2-14 in 2011) after drafting QB Andrew Luck. Now they also have their coach back-Chuck Pagano-who missed most of the season battling leukemia. Luck ranks 31st in completion percentage and 26th in passer rating (76.5) but he threw 5 TDs passes and no picks in the final three games. Baltimore is 3-8 ATS last 11 home games. Pro Football Line: Baltimore is a 7-point favorite. Total: 47.

Seattle (11-5 SU, 11-5 ATS, 8-8 O/U) at Washington (10-6 SU, 11-5 ATS, 9-7 O/U)

(11/27/11): Washington (+3) over SEATTLE, 23-17 Washington is 7-0 ATS last 7 after a SU win. This is the second-ever battle of rookie quarterbacks in the playoffs. Seattle rookie quarterback Russell Wilson tied Peyton Manning’s record for most TD passes for a rookie with 26. He also has 16 touchdowns to just two picks during Seattle’s 7-1 run at the end of the regular season. He threw for 3,118 yards and had a passer rating of 100.0, just second-best for a rookie to RGIII (102.4). Washington runs a Pistol Offense to suit Griffin’s needs. They were also helped by another rookie in RB Alfred Morris, who finished second in the NFL with 1,613 yards. He rushed for 200 yards and three scores in their division-clinching win over Dallas. Washington is 7-0 ATS last 7 after a SU win. Pro Football Odds: Seattle is a 3-point favorite. Total: 46.

Kent St. (11-2 SU, 10-2-1 ATS, 8-4 O/U) vs. Arkansas St. (9-3 SU, 8-4 ATS, 6-5 O/U)

Kent State was a punt return away from playing on New Year's Day against Florida State in the Orange Bowl. Northern Illinois didn't fare that well but their 44-37 overtime win over Kent State in the MAC Championship game on Nov. 30, was an historic win for the conference. Unfortunately for the MAC, success leads to coaches stepping up. Darrell Hazell will be coaching his final game for No. 25 Kent State before heading off to Purdue. Gus Malzahn led to the GoDaddy.com.bowl but he left for Auburn. So defensive coordinator John Thompson will be the interim coach for Arkansas State. Kent State is 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
College Football Odds: Arkansas State is a 3.5-point favorite. Total: 63.
