Basketball Betting Odds and Matchups: Jan. 27
Atssportsline.com

So there's one more Sunday left of football and it's not today. Unless you want to count the flag football game they call the Pro Bowl. Here at ATS Sports Line, we advise you to watch it and have fun, but don't bet your mortgage on that sorry exhibition. Instead, enjoy the basketball. If you need some assistance, check out ATS Sportsline, as we just hit our Underdog Lock of the Year outright on Saturday with Georgetown

Let's roll!

#3 Michigan (18-1 SU, 10-6-1 ATS) at Illinois (15-5 SU, 7-10 ATS)

Last game: (3/1/12). Michigan (-2.5) over ILLINOIS, 72-61. Michigan has won two straight after falling to Ohio State on Jan. 13, 56-53. They routed Purdue at home on Jan. 24, 68-53, giving 15. Illinois is coming off a 71-51 road win over Nebraska giving 5. Michigan could move to #1 with a win. Trey Burke leads Michigan with 17.8 points per game. Illinois needs a big game from guard Brandon Paul, who is second in the Big 10 in scoring with 18ppg. Michigan is 18-7-1 ATS last 26 road games. College Basketball Odds: Michigan is a 6-point favorite.

#11 Michigan State (17-3 SU, 6-10-1 ATS) at #8 Indana (17-2 SU, 9-8 ATS)

Last game: (2/28/12). INDIANA (+2.5) over Michigan State, 70-55. Michigan State is finally starting to gel. Tom Izzo has his team playing its best ball of the year. After they fell to Minnesota on the road, 76-63 on Dec. 31, the Spartans won six in a row including a 49-47 slugfest at Wisconsin, getting 5. They want to slow it down, while Indiana wants to push the tempo. IU has won two straight, including a 72-49 win over Penn Sate on Wednesday, giving 24. Their disappointing loss to Wisconsin at home on Jan. 15, 64-59, showed that they can be vulnerable on their home court and to physical teams. Favorite is 7-3 ATS last 10 in series. College Basketball Line: Indiana is a 9.5-point favorite. Total: NT.

Miami (28-12 SU, 20-20 ATS, 19-21 O/U) at Boston (20-23 SU, 14-26-3 ATS, 20-22-1 O/U)

Last game: (10/30/12). MIAMI (-6.5) over Boston, 120-107. So Ray Allen returns to Boston. He didn't exactly leave on best of terms with Kevin Garnett, who had some choice words, but then again, KG doesn't like anybody not wearing green. Miami is coming off a 110-88 rout over Detroit on Friday, giving 9.5. They've won four straight while Boston has now lost six straight after one of the most shocking losses in Celtics' history. They blew a 27-point lead against Atlanta on the road on Friday, falling 123-111 in overtime, getting 5.5. Boston is 10-2 ATS last 12 at home in this series. Pro Basketball Odds: Miami is a 3.5-point favorite. Total: 188.
