Basketball Sports Betting Odds and Preview Capsules: March 3
Atssportsline.com

What an exciting Saturday of basketball. There's more to come on Sunday at a smaller scale. We had a very good one here at ATS Sportsline. There are more great hoops games on Sunday, including a very intriguing NBA game in a battle at Madison Square Garden and a battle of Western Conference scoring machines that might wind up with a game with a combined 250 points.

Get ready for another strong Sunday!

Michigan State Spartans (22-6 SU, 10-13-2 ATS) at Michigan Wolverines (23-5 SU, 13-12-1 ATS)

Last game: (2/12/13) MICHIGAN STATE (+1.5) over Michigan, 75-52. Michigan State is coming off a 68-60 loss at Ohio State on Sunday, getting 3.5. Michigan really struggled in a shocking loss at Penn Sate, 84-78 giving 13.0 on Wednesday. Trey Burke leads a Michigan squad that should be upset about their loss to Penn State and getting embarrassed at Michigan State a few weeks back. The home team is 4-0 ATS last 4 in series. College Basketball Odds: Michigan is a 4-point betting odds favorite. Total is 132.5.

Miami Heat (42-14 SU, 29-27 ATS, 30-26 O/U) at New York Knicks (35-20 SU, 26-27-2 ATS, 26-27-2 O/U)

Last game: (12/6/12) New York (+10) over MIAMI, 112-92. Here's another revenge game for Miami. The Heat have won 13 in a row but from a betting perspective, the might be a little overvalued. They have not covered their last three, despite beating Memphis at home, 98-91 on Friday, as a 7.5-point betting odds favorite..The Knicks are back in a groove, having won three straight, after beating Washington on the road on Friday, by eight, giving 3. New York is 1-7-1 ATS last 9 overall. Pro Basketball Lines: Miami is a 4.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 198.5.

Oklahoma City Thunder (42-16 SU, 34-22-2 ATS, 30-28 O/U) at Los Angeles Clippers (43-18 SU, 35-26 ATS, 32-29 O/U)

Last game: (1/22/13) Oklahoma City (-2.5) over LA CLIPPERS, 109-97. This won't be a snoozer. Even though the Thunder lost on Friday night, by just two at Denver, 105-103 laying 1.5, they are still playing well. They dominated the Clippers in a January meeting. The Clippers recovered from that loss and are finally healthy. They've won four straight and eight of their last nine games. A win on Friday over Cleveland, 105-89 as an 8-point favorite off a win over Indiana the night before was impressive. The Clippers are 21-10 ATS last 31 in series. Pro Hoops Odds: Los Angeles Clippers are a 2.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 204.
