-115 Saturday, +4431 to date.....

MLB:

1* NY Mets ml +200
2* NY Yanks -1.5 +110
1* Mon Expos -1.5 +170
1* SD Padres ml +200
1* Cleveland ml +210

NBA:

3* SA Spurs -4

INDY 500:

1* Helio Castronneves +500

Going for 3 straight at the Brickyard. The "Spiderman" will again be climbing the fence to celebrate with the fans.

NASCAR Coca Cola 600:

3* Bobby Labonte ml +800

This is my biggest play of the year, matching my Dale Earnhardt Jr play in the Winston last Saturday. Labonte will be starting 11th, for the longest race of the year. BL was the fastest car here in Charlotte last Sat night along with Kurt Busch. BL has the patience for this race, and he has won here before. TONIGHT IS HIS NIGHT!

1/2* Jeff Burton ml +2500

Burton will be starting 35th after a lousy qualifying run. It only serves to give us more value, as this is a long race. His family sits behind us at the race, and Mr. Burton says Jeff will be ready for the 600. Burton will move through the pack, and avoid being lapped. Similar to Mark Martin who won this race last year, starting 25th. Jeff Burton is the best value of the Jack Rousch owned Fords this week. I cannot back Kurt Busch, because of his aggressiveness. This is a race of patience. Rousch has won 4 straight Coca Cola 600's, with Burton having 2 of those wins.

1/4* (opinion) Matt Kenseth ml +1200

Another Rousch Ford play here. Kenseth won the Busch race Saturday, and should be strong Sunday night. Kenseth has the best pit crew in NASCAR, and they put him great positions. His advantage in the pits rivals the advantage Jeff Gordon used to get from the "Rainbow Warriors" 3-4 years ago. Kenseth led the circuit in wins last year (7), and is the leader in the points Championship entering this race. Can't pass up the value here.

Hook,

I like earnhart, b. labonte and jeff gordon here today in the race. labonte is the only one that really pays good out of the three but if either of the other two win at least it will cover all three bets. i saw in another thread you will be at the race, that will be a great time i bet, have fun and pound a few brews for all of us stuck at home

NASCAR:

1/4* Field bet at Pinnacle +5000

This bet at Pinnacle gives you ALL of the following driver's and pays back 50/1. The reason this is a tremendous value, is because of the weather. We could very well have a rain shortened race tonight, and the race is official after 200 laps (300 miles). There is alot that can be done with pitstops, to "Gamble" and put your car up front. Here are the Driver's included in this field bet (and their starting position)

Mike Skinner (starting 3rd)
Jack Sprague (5th)
Todd Bodine (16th)
Casey Mears (19th)
Jer Mayfield (22nd)
Tony Raines (25th)
Kevin LePage (26th)
Kenny Wallace(28th)
Larry Foyt (29th)
Ken Schrader (30th)
Kyle Petty (31st)
Terry LaBonte(39th)
John Andretti(42nd)
Mike Wallace (43rd)

Have fun, drink beer, and be safe!

tough day with the race selections. I had solid choices, but no excuses. Castroneves finished 2nd to teammate Gil De Ferran at INDY. Kenseth finished 2nd and Bobby LaBonte 3rd in the NASCAR race. I absolutely cannot believe they called the NASCAR race after 15 or 20 minutes of rain. Disgusting!

I was a little disappointed about the finish as well. I think a lot of it has to do with JJ to be honest. It is good for the image to have the winston winner win the 600. That is wack though. I had a tough go in my fantasy league too. Labonte was the only one that did [censored] for me. I was in third and I am scared to look where I am now.
