I have been trying to post this all day but I am just getting buried over here with work. Anyway....

The word on the street is that PayPal is ceasing gambling transactions as of August 15th. What does that mean? Well, I know for sure that it means that you will no longer be able to send or receive any funds from online casinos or online sports books. What I am not sure about is what will happen to monies you may have in your PayPal account that you just haven't put back on your CC or in your bank account.

So, what should you do? I am personally doing this and recommending that you do as well.

If you funded an online gambling account with PayPal I would request a withdrawl from that organization for your entire balance. Once that is processed I would then transfer the money that is now in your PayPal account back to your CC or bank. Then I would withdraw the money and send via Western Union, Neteller, etc.

I am getting with a Neteller rep here shortly to set myself up and then if any of you are interested in Neteller I would be happy to guide you through it as well.

But above all, DON'T WAIT!!!!

Nobody is sure what all this means so better to be safe then sorry! Any questions feel free to post them or email me!

I think all you really need is just a neteller account, if the book supports neteller i don't see why you would have to withdraw everything using paypal and than put everything back into neteller

Juicy,

A lot of books have a policy that if you fund with PayPal you must withdraw through PayPal. In lieu of that when you are ready to withdraw you will either need to wait for a check or possibly pay a fee to use Western Union.

Plus, not all books support Neteller right now. More are getting on with them everyday but if you happen to play at one that doesn't you are stuck waiting.

Like I said, to each their own but this is what I am personally doing and I think that it isn't a bad idea for everyone else to go this route as well. A few hours tied up in getting your PayPal loot and resending it via another method sure beats not being able to bet for 2-3 weeks waiting on a check.
