Analysis:
Both teams are rested, having last week off. The key here is Maryland RB Perry is Healthy and has had a very solid week of practice. Freidgen is going against his old team here (OC @ GT under O'Leary), one that he knows well.
I like backing Maryland (under Freidgen) after the first few games, when I stay away. His coaching and teaching is unreal, and I have spoken face-to-face with players that played under him.
Maryland is 17-5 as a favorite under "Ralph". If you avoid the first 2 games of the year (N.Ill this year) and the huge spreads (failed as 29 pt chalk in last game vs. Duke), it gets even better. This is a huge game for Maryland, and I expect them to get it in style in a near pick 'em situation.
Talent mismatch, and coaching mismatch in my opinion. Despite Tech's recent success as a dog, only one way to go here....
