This was a case of two undervalued teams. Both teams were coming off early exits in their conference tourneys, giving them time to rest, practice, and focus for the big dance.
Both were matched up with athletically inferior opponents, and Cincy and BC had time to prepare and focus. The result was 2 blowouts, games that were in hand by the superior team within the first 8:00 of the first half......
