Chicago (Ritchie) @ Texas (Woodard)

Well I get off the losing train here! Really like the value in this play the Sox are 6-1 in the last 7 meetings and get to face a pitcher that has been hammered lately and on only 2 days rest.

The White Sox send Todd Ritchie to the mound here today who has been very solid this year with a 3-2 record in 7 starts with an ERA of 3.00 and a WHIP of 1.289 fanning 29 and walking 18 the under is 3-4 in his starts this year. This is his first start against the Rangers which helps as I think it may take a few trips through the order for them to get used to him if they ever do.

The Rangers bring Woodard out of the bullpen on only 2 days rest he has an ERA of 6.75 ERA in his last 2.2 innings pitched with a WHIP of 2.62.

The Sox offense has been very productive batting .297 as a team against right handers with an on base percentage of .394 and averaging 6.2 runs a game against them.

The Texas offense has been very anemic only batting .247 as a team against righties scoring an average of 5 runs with an on base percentage of .354.

The home plate umpire Alfonzo Marquez has a very big strike zone with the under going 5-1 when he makes the calls he has a strike out to walk ratio of 2.55 with an average score of 7.50. Add all these things together and I think the White Sox are the right side.

Playing the White Sox -118

Edited due to pitching change
