Top Betting Odds for Thursday

Are you ready for Week 11 in the NFL? A divisional game highlights the night as Miami takes on Buffalo on the road. There's also some fantastic college football action with North Carolina at Virginia in an ACC matchup. There are just three NBA games, but there's a ton of college basketball games. Get the chips out and your favorite beverage ready!

Here we go!

Miami (4-5) at Buffalo (3-6)

Last year: MIAMI (-1) over Buffalo, 30-23; Miami (-3) over BUFFALO, 35-8. Both teams are in a funk and looking to get out. Miami (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) is looking to bounce back from a 37-3 home loss last week to Tennessee, while Buffalo (3-6 SU, 4-5 ATS) is trying to bounce back from a hard-fought 37-31 loss at New England, getting 13.5. Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill has thrown just one of his five TDs in the last 3 games and ranks 29th with a 73.2 passer rating. Favorite is 7-3 ATS L10 in series. NFL Odds: Buffalo is a 2.5-point favorite. Total: 45.5.

North Carolina (6-4) at Virginia (4-6)

Last year: NORTH CAROLINA (-10) over Virginia, 28-17.The Heels have a very talented offense, but they struggled last week against the triple-option (to be mild), in their 68-50 record-breaking loss to Georgia Tech. They won’t be facing the option this week when they take on UVa and QB Michael Rocco. Virginia is looking to run the table to become bowl eligibile. North Carolina is led by RB Giovani Bernard, who became the first Tar Heels player in 20 years to run for 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. North Carolina is 4-1 ATS L5 on Thursday games. College Lines: North Carolina is a 3.5-point favorite. Total: 62

#6 NC State (1-0) vs. Penn State (1-0)

N.C. State meets Penn State on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. The Wolfpack were the preseason pick to win the ACC. On Friday, they took care of Miami (Ohio) at home on Friday, winning 97-59. It was their highest point total since a 99-44 win against Campbell on Nov. 26, 2004. Penn State is led by Tim Frazier, the Big Ten's top returning scorer (18.8 points per game) and assist man (6.2). He scored 23 points and dished out six assists in Friday's 65-58 win against St. Francis (Pa.). Not an impressive performance against a NEC squad. Penn State is 6-2-1 ATS L9 Thursday games. Hoops Odds: NC State is a 12-point favorite. Total: 138.

Villanova (2-0) vs. Purdue (1-1)

This game is played in New York as part of the 2K Sports Classic, Villanova is coming off an 80-68 win over Marshall on Sunday as freshman Ryan Arcidiacono scored 20 of his game-high 25 points in the first half. Purdue lost to Bucknell in their opener and the came back to beat Hofstra, 83-54 at home on Sunday as Anthony Johnson scored 14 points in the 2K Sports Classic. Guard Terone Johnson, their top scorer in exhibition play, did not play against Bucknell due to an ankle injury but did come back to play 17 minutes against Hofstra. Villanova is 4-1 ATS L5 vs. Big 10. Basketball lines: Purdue is a 2-point favorite. Total: 137.5.
