Top Betting Odds for Thursday

Spend it with family and friends with good food, good times and great football. If you are betting the games today, there are three intriguing NFL games and one college football rivalry game.

Here we go!

Houston (9-1) at Detroit (4-6)

The last time Houston traveled to an NFC North squad, they were victorious (beat Chicago, 13-6 two weeks ago). The Texans are looking to completely take control of the AFC North, while Detroit probably will need to run the table. This time, the Texans (9-1) take on Detroit (4-6) at Ford Field on Thursday at 12:30pmET (CBS). The Texans are coming off a 43-37 overtime win over Jacksonville at home as a 15-point favorite last week, while the Lions fell at home to Green Bay, 24-20. Houston is 8-0 ATS after playing Jacksonville. NFL Line: Houston is a 3-point favorite. Total: 50.5.

Washington (4-6) at Dallas (5-5)

Last year: Dallas (-7) over WASHINGTON; DALLAS (-3) over Washington, 18-16. One of the NFL's oldest rivalries has more meaning on Thanksgiving. Robert Griffin III has his first shot at this rivarly. Washington (4-6) still has some life after defeating Philadelphia, 31-6 at home last week, while Dallas (5-5) is coming off a 23-20 overtime win at home against Cleveland, giving 7. Washington travels to Cowboys Stadium to take on Dallas at 4:15pmET (FOX). Washington is 5-0 ATS L5 on the road in series. NFL Lines: Dallas is a 3-point favorite. Total: 48.

New England (7-3) at NY Jets (4-6)

Get ready for a big AFC East matchup on Thursday night. The Patriots are coming off a 59-24 home win over Indianapolis, while the Jets are coming off an impressive 27-13 road win over St.Louis, getting 3.5. The Patriots are playing without TE Rob Gronkowski, who broke his forearm late in last week's game, The Pats will need TE Aaron Hernandez to be healthy and step up. The Jets need to get a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Last game: NEW ENGLAND (-11) over NY Jets, 29-26ot. New England is 4-1 ATS L5 in November. Football Odds: New England is a 7-point favorite. Total: 48.5

TCU (6-4) at Texas (8-2)

These two teams haven’t played since 2007. Both teams are coming off byes. Texas has won four straight and is playing their best football all year. TCU has lost three of four are are 3-4 in the Big 12. Texas QB David Ash was pulled on Oct. 27 in their 21-17 win at Kansas. Since then he has come back to throw five touchdown passes in the last two games. WR Mike Davis (45 catches, 18.6ypc) and Jaxon Shipley (40 catches) are excellent threats. TCU has been plagued by turnovers in their last four games and penalties overall (they average 7.2 per game). Texas is 4-0 ATS L4 following a bye week. College Football lines: Texas is a 7.5-point favorites. Total: 57.5.
