Basketball Betting Lines and Previews: Feb. 21
Atssportsline.com

We can't exaggerate. Not every night is spectacular. This night in college basketball only features two Top-25 games but there are two really good conference matchups including one on in the West Coast Conference and in the Big East. In the NBA, there are two quality games highlighted by a Western Conference matchup that could be a preview for the semi-finals.

Let's get rolling with some basketball!

Cincinnati Bearcats (19-7 SU, 10-12 ATS) at Connecticut Huskies (17-7 SU, 10-10 ATS

Last game (1/18/12) Cincinnati (+6.5) over CONNECTICUT, 70-67. Cincinnati is just 7-6 in the Big East so every game is now important, especially against a quality UConn team that is ineligible for the postseason. Cincinnati is coming off a 62-55 loss at home to Georgetown last Friday night, giving 4. Connecticut fell at home to Villanova, giving 4.5, 70-61 last Saturday. Despite their issues, they are still 7-5 in the Big East and are at least playing for pride. Cincinnati is 20-8 ATS last 28 road games. College Basketball Odds: The game is a pick-em. Total: 126.5.

Brigham Young Cougars (20-8 SU, 12-15 ATS) at Saint Mary's Gaels (22-5 SU, 12-11-1 ATS)

Last game: (1/16/13) St. Mary's (+5) over BYU, 70-69. This is a bit of a revenge game for BYU, who lost at home by just one point in their first matchup in January. BYU (9-4 WCC) is coming off two straight wins to Portland (86-72) and Utah State (70-68) at home. But BYU just played on Tuesday, while St. Mary's last played on Saturday. The Gaels (11-2 WCC) sit comfortably behind Gonzaga in the West Coast Conference, a familiar place. They bounced back from a 17-point home loss to Gonzaga by defeating Loyola-Marymount, 61-50 on the road, giving 13.5 points on Saturday. St. Mary's is 7-1 ATS last 8 Thursday games. College Basketball Lines: St. Mary's is an 8-point betting odds favorite. Total: 150.

San Antonio (43-12 SU, 30-23-2 ATS, 25-28-2 O/U) at Los Angeles Clippers (39-17 SU, 31-25 ATS), 30-26 O/U)

Last game: (11/19/12) LA Clippers (+4.5) over SAN ANTONIO, 92-87. Both teams are fairly healthy although the Spurs' Stephen Jackson is out due to personal reasons. The Spurs are coming off a 108-102 road win over Sacramento on Tuesday, though they did not cover the 9. The Clippers have not played since the All-Star break but their last game a week from tonight was impressive. They crushed the Lakers, 125-101, giving 4 points. The Chris Paul vs. Tony Parker matchup should be worth the price of admission.. LA Clippers are 4-1 ATS last 5 Thursday games. Pro Hoops Odds: The LA Clippers are a 3-point betting odds favorite. Total: 200.
