Basketball Betting Odds and Preview: February 28
Atssportsline.com

Can you believe this is the last day of the month of February? This month has really flown by and now we are headed to the month where March Madness resides. But before we get to March, let's end February with a bang as there are several interesting college basketball matchups and one really good NBA game. There are some quality betting opportunities every night and this one is no different.

Good luck tonight!

Duke Blue Devils (24-3 SU, 15-12 ATS) at Virginia Cavaliers (19-8 SU, 16-7-1 ATS)

Last game (1/12/12) DUKE (-10.5) over Virginia, 61-58. Duke is on prime time? Shocker but since they are the third-ranked team in the nation and Virginia needs the game, it makes for compelling viewing. Duke is coming off an easy win over Boston College on Sunday, 89-68, giving 16 points. Virginia (19-8 SU, 16-7-1 ATS, 9-5 ACC) defeated Georgia Tech, 82-54 at home last Sunday, as a 10-point betting odds favorite. Virginia is 15-5-1 ATS last 21 home games. College Basketball Lines: Virginia is a 1-point favorite. Total: 129.5.

Gonzaga Bulldogs (27-2 SU, 15-11-1 ATS) at Brigham Young Cougars (20-9 SU, 13-15 ATS)

Last game: (1/24/13) GONZAGA (-10) over BYU 83-63. Gonzaga could be the number one team in the nation next week, but BYU stands in their way. Gonzaga (14-0 West Coast Conference) is looking to go undefeated in the conference. They crushed San Diego, 81-50 in their last game on Saturday as a 22.5-point home favorite. BYU is coming off a 64-57 road loss at St. Mary's last Thursday, getting 8.5, so they have plenty of rest. BYU is 8-18 ATS last 26 Thursday games. College Basketball Odds: Gonzaga is an 6-point betting odds favorite. Total: 147.

Los Angeles Clippers (41-18 SU, 33-26 ATS, 32-27 O/U) at Indiana Pacers (36-21 SU, 33-24 ATS, 24-32-1)

Last game: (3/20/12) INDIANA (-3.5) over LA Clippers, 102-89. The Clippers have won two straight games, but have some struggles on the road this year. They beat Charlotte at home on Tuesday, 106-84. Indiana will be without center Roy Hibbert, who is suspended for this game. They have won five straight games including a 108-97 victory over Golden State on Tuesday, giving 8.5. Indiana is 5-2 ATS last 7 at home in series. Pro Hoops Odds: Indiana is a 1-point betting odds favorite. Total: 190.5.
