Basketball Betting Odds and Preview Capsules: March 7
Atssportsline.com

The conference tournaments continue today with the Atlantic Sun, Big South, Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley, and West Coast Conference in action. There are also some college basketball big games in the Pac-12 and Big 10. We'll highlight the top games with betting capsule along with a top NBA game.

Let's get it started!

Oregon Ducks (23-6 SU, 11-15-1 ATS) at Colorado Buffaloes (19-9 SU, 15-11-1 ATS)

Last game: (2/7/13) Colorado (+7) over Oregon, 48-47. Oregon has won two straight games and should be very close to making the NCAA Tournament. They defeated Oregon State at home, 85-75 last Thursday as a 10-point betting odds favorite. The return of point guard Dominic Artis from a foot injury should make the Ducks a much better offensive team. Colorado is right on the bubble after losing at California, 62-46 last Saturday as a 5-point betting odds underdog. Oregon is 2-8-1 ATS last 11 overall. College Basketball Odds: Colorado is a 3-point betting odds favorite. Total: 129.

Wisconsin Badgers (20-9 SU, 11-15-1 ATS) at Michigan State Spartans (22-7 SU, 11-13-2 ATS)

Last game: (1/22/13) Michigan State (+5) over Wisconsin, 49-47. Both teams will be in the Big Dance. Now they are looking to improve their seeding. Both teams are also 11-5 in the Big 10, but Wisconsin doesn't want to get swept. They are coming off a bad loss to Purdue at home, 69-56, as a 14.5-point betting odds favorite. Michigan State has lost three straight games, including a 58-57 road loss at Michigan where they did cover as a 5-point underdog. Home team is 13-5 ATS last 18 in series. College Basketball Lines: Michigan State is a 4.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 120.

Oklahoma City Thunder (44-16 SU, 36-22-2 ATS, 32-28 O/U) at New York Knicks (36-21 SU, 27-28-2 ATS, 26-29-2 O/U)

Last game (1/14/12) Oklahoma City (-11) over New York, 104-92. The big question is whether Carmelo Anthony plays due to a knee injury. Oklahoma City has won two straight including a 122-105 home win over the Lakers on Tuesday, giving 9.5. The Knicks defeated Detroit, 87-77 as a 4.5-point betting odds favorite on Wednesday. If they don't have Anthony or even if they do, they are going to have to make this more of a halfcourt game and get the ball inside to Amare Stoudemire. New York is 9-3 ATS last 12 at home in series. Pro Hoops Odds: Oklahoma City is a 7-point betting odds favorite. Total: 206.5.

LA Clippers (44-19 SU, 36-27 ATS, 34-29 O/U) at Denver Nuggets (40-22 SU, 37-24-1 ATS, 38-24 O/U)

Last game (1/1/13) Denver (-1) over LA Clippers, 92-78. The Clippers have won four of the last five, defeating Milwaukee, 117-101 on Wednesday as a 9.5-point betting odds favorite. This is a matchup between the best two point guards in the league. Chris Paul is at the top of his game, but Ty Lawson is playing like the best right now for Denver. The Nuggets have won six straight including a 120-113 road win over Sacramento giving 5 on Tuesday. LA Clippers are 5-1 ATS last 6 in Denver. Pro Basketball Odds: Denver is a 4.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 214.5.
