SEASON NBA: 152-123, +49.4 UNITS!!
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: 131-111, +5.15 UNITS!!
SEASON MLB: 672-582, +151.85 UNITS!!

New Orleans @ Utah 10:05 PM EST

Utah -5.5 over New Orleans (4.5 Units)

Coming off their first home loss of the season, the New Orleans Hornets take to the road against the hottest home team in basketball as they visit the Utah Jazz... after a miserable 3-7 start to the season, the veteran Jazz have turned their season around by winning seven of their last nine games overall, and their last seven games as home by a decided margin...

The Jazz have won and covered each of those last seven home games by a minimum of eight points and an amazing average of 18 points per game... what's most amazing about Utah's turnaround season is how they have performed as a favorite, as the Jazz have gone a perfect 11-0 SU and 10-0-1 ATS as a favorite this season (with an average score of 100 to 83.9)... this success as a favorite has been consistent in the series between the Jazz and Hornets, as the favorite has gone 7-0 SU and 6-0-1 ATS when these two teams have faced... additionally, the home team in this series is 8-1 SU and 8-0-1 ATS in the last nine games between these two...

While the Hornets have fared exceptionally well at home this season, New Orleans does not carry that success into road games where they are the underdog, as the Hornets are 0-7 ATS when installed as a road dog of 3 points or more, including an 0-4 mark this season... with Utah having won and covered their last three home games against the Hornets, and with their offense clicking (the Jazz have scored 101+ in 3 of their last 4), we see little reason not to side with the Jazz to continue their amazing dominance at home and as a favorite this season...

FINAL PREDICTION: UTAH 103, NEW ORLEANS 86

Atlanta @ Minnesota 8:05 PM EST

Minnesota -5 over Atlanta (3 Units)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are happy to be home after an arduous but relatively successful six-game road trip which saw Kevin Garnett and company compile a 3-3 record... the Hawks, tonight's opponent, knows all about the joys of home, as they are 8-2 SU at home, and a mirror image 2-8 SU on the road, including three straight double-digit losses (by a combined 53 points)...

The Hawks have been a miserable road dog the past couple of years, going a miserable 3-14 ATS in their last 17 games as such... and as a road dog after back-to-back home games, the Hawks have gone a miserable 1-14 ATS in their last 15 games, including 0-9 ATS in their last nine... Atlanta may feel as though they're back on the right track after two straight wins at home, but with a 2-8 ATS mark in their last ten games, it's obvious that the Hawks are not playing the best ball right now...

While the Timberwolves haven't been as dominant a home favorite as years past, they still have what it takes to beat the Hawks and cover the spread, as Minnesota has now won six straight games against the Hawks, each by seven points or more, and an average of 12.7 ppg... at home against the Hawks, Minnesota has won each of their last four games by a gaudy average of 14.3 ppg... and considering that Atlanta has lost their last three road games by an average of 17.7 points per contest, the possibility of yet another double-digit Minnesota win is certainly strong...

Since 1995, Minnesota has had four road trips of 5+ games... in their first home game after those trips, the Wolves have won and covered the spread each of their first three occasions... we look for that number to reach four as the Timberwolves win and cover this contest with a 10 point win...

FINAL PREDICTION: MINNESOTA 95, ATLANTA 85

Detroit @ Chicago 7:35 PM EST

Detroit -3 over Chicago (2 Units)
Detroit/Chicago Over 183.5 (2.5 Units)
