QB Leftwich out. Even though he is regarded as one of NCAA's finest QB's could this be an instance where the adjustment of the line is disproportionate with the loss of one player ? It seems like Marshall always has a good QB waiting his turn to play.

He's sucked the other week when Leftwich went down. Miami is tough.

I like Marshall straight up in this one with Byron out. I also agree that the move is not appropriate to the circumstance of just the injury but more due to the opening line. Here is my spin...

Leftwich was doubtfull when the line opened. IMO, that is why the number came in so low in the first place. If he would of never been injured look for Marshall to be a fav by at least 6-7 or more. But because he was doubtfull, they didn't want to open it too generous as it was always going to be a gameday decision. I think now the line is moving because people found out he is in fact not gonna play for sure and now they are trying to balance it according to the people who got in early because they thought he would be good to go by today and liked that they were getting points.
