Tuesday Night Sports Lines and Odds
Atssportsline.com

Hope everybody on the East Coast is safe during Hurricane Sandy. ATS SportsLine offices have been hit hard by the rain and wind but have survived so far. We can't wait for tonight's opening of the NBA season so if you have power and want to check out some great hoops action, take a seat and grab a cold one and watch the Heat and Celtics along with two other big games.

Let's get rolling:

Washington at Cleveland

Both teams are young and looking to compete. Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving is one of the best young guards in the game. Normally, he'd be opposed by speedy John Wall, but he's out indefinitely due to a knee injury. The Wiz are without three key players in Wall, Nene, and Kevin Seraphin. Cleveland is a 5.5-point favorite with a total of 188.5.

Boston at Miami

LeBron James gets his first ring. Not two, not three, not four...He could get his second this year, especially in a weak Eastern Conference. Boston should be their top competition. The Celts lose aging shooting guard Ray Allen and he winds up in Miami. Apparently he didn't get along with point guard Rajon Rondo. Expect this first game to get very heated. Miami is a 6.5-point favorite with a total of 186.0.

Dallas at Los Angeles Lakers

Dirk Nowitzki is out with a knee injury and Kobe Bryant (foot) might be a game-time decision. The Lakers made it through preseason at 0-8, but those games were used to form chemistry. It may take awhile for the Lakers with additions Steve Nash and Dwight Howard to become formidable. The Lakers are a 9-point favorite with a total of 187.
