Top Betting Odds for Tuesday

Getting ready for Thanksgiving? Hungry for more betting opportunities? College football kicks off with Week 13, with Toledo hosting Akron. The Progressive Legends Classic continues in college basketball with Georgetown facing #1 Indiana and North Carolina takes on a pesky Butler team from Hawaii. In the NBA, there are three games and Mike D'Antonio may finally take the bench tonight for the Lakers.

Let's get rolling!

Akron (1-10) at Toledo (8-3)

Last year: AKRON (-6.5) over Toledo, 47-30/ The Akron Zips head to the Glass Bowl in Ohio to take on the Toledo Rockets on Tuesday night. Akron is coming off a 22-14 home loss to UMass, while Toledo lost at Northern Illinois, 31-24 last Wednesday, getting 10. Toledo could be without star RB David Fluellen (high ankle sprain), who has 1,456 rushing yards. QB Terrance Owens also had an ankle injury that has sidelined him at practice but should play. Akron did fall to UMass at home, but got a strong performance from Dalton Williams, who connected for 332 passing yards. Akron is 4-1 ATS L5 road games. College Line: Toledo is a 19-point favorite. Total: 63.5.

#1 Indiana (4-0) vs. Georgetown (3-0)

The top-ranked Hoosiers look to avoid becoming the Hoyas' next victim when they meet in the championship game of the Progressive Legends Classic at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night..The Hoyas (3-0) beat No. 11 UCLA 78-70 on Monday to spoil the college debut of Shabazz Muhammad, hours after the Hoosiers won the first semifinal 66-53 over Georgia. Indiana, averaging 87.3 points, could use a better performance from star center Cody Zeller. The sophomore big man spent time on the bench in the first half due to foul trouble and finished with season lows of six points and four rebounds while committing four turnovers -- one shy of his total over the previous three games. Georgetown is 16-5 ATS L21 neutral site games. College Lines: no line posted yet.

#9 North Carolina (4-0) vs. Butler (2-1)

North Carolina is the only ranked team in the Maui Invitational field, and it didn't get much of a challenge from its first-round opponent. Butler hopes to make the favorite's path to the championship a bit more difficult. North Carolina led by 32 points at halftime and cruised to a 95-49 win over Mississippi State on Monday, holding an overmatched opponent that had only six scholarship players available to 28.3 percent shooting. Butler committed only seven turnovers and provided a thriller in the opening game of the tournament, as Rotnei Clarke hit a running 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded to give it a 72-71 win over Marquette on Monday. North Carolina is 8-2 ATS L10 Tuesday games. Hoops Odds: No line posted yet.

Brooklyn (6-2) at LA Lakers (5-5)

Dwight Howard will try to lead the suddenly high-powered Lakers to a season-high third straight victory while denying the surging Nets their longest win streak in seven seasons. New coach Mike D'Antoni was expected to appear on the Lakers' bench for the first time Sunday against Houston, but his wife and team trainer Gary Vitti convinced him to wait a few more days to continue recovering from knee replacement surgery. D'Antoni has watched the past two games from the locker room while getting therapy on his knee, and has talked to the team before games and at halftime. Interim coach Bernie Bickerstaff, who will remain an assistant on the new staff, has guided Los Angeles to a 4-1 mark since Mike Brown's firing earlier this month. Lakers are 5-1 ATS L6 home games. Basketball lines: LA Lakers are a 6-point favorite. Total: 208.
